Ok I guess I'm the fresh one on the chopping block. I am 46 yrs.old married, healthy, and have a great sex life but I had pee problems. I would pee (tinkle more like) several times an hour and always felt like there was more in my bladder. Going to a movie would mean not drinking hours before which helped but not always. The worst was when I had to go it was now or leak in my shorts, when I got the bathroom I stood there and dripped then minutes later I would be able to get some relief.I never went without my "pee bottle" when I was on the road by myself. I was getting up 3-4 times during the night. A year ago I saw my Urologist and he told me that my prostate was large and that it was keeping my bladder from closing. I was prescribed "Flowmax" which did take the edge off the urgency to pee but didn't help any of the other symtoms. I had my TURP done on May 20th (17 days ago) I was led to believe from reading my paperwork that the burning at the head of my ***** was a normal issue and just held off calling my Dr. until I couldn't stand it any longer. I would pee just fine it was when I finished a burning sensation would grab hold and last for about 3-4 minutes. Also at night a sensation of nerve tinging would set in and I'd toss and turn and unable to sleep (Tylenol Pm helped) I'd find that if I hold the head of my ***** it would ease this irratating feeling. I did go in and mentioned this to my Dr. before my 3 week check-up. He said that my bladder was spasming and the nerve endings are at the head of my *****. He said this could last for a few weeks.UGH! As of today I still have blood in my urine but only at the start and it's a brownish orange color with little pieces of tissue sometimes. The tingeling is still present. I will give this another two weeks if it's still with me I'm calling the Doc again. Well I'm glad to share this with you and I'll update as time goes on. Btw I get to "*********" as the Dr. calls it next week...Not sure what to expect. Happy peeing

re hgiles747: I had a TURP done over 2 years ago(age 58); that intense itching feeling used to come and go, but lately it has just gotten worse & worse. So, my urologist ran a UA and said I have an infection, but I have been taking the antibiotics for 5 days, and it hasn't changed that much. I still have to get up 5 or 6 times at night to pee, and have trouble lasting thru a class sometimes (I'm a teacher); I often wonder what the point of the TURP was, if this is the result. -- Jakob37

I am having a Turp procedure for the second time this January, the first being about 7 years ago. My Dr didnt cut away alot of tissue because I was relatively young and was very concerned of retrograde ejac. I am at a desperate point now, have to squeeze hard to get anything out and has become life altering. I would just like to hear from someone who has had a similar experience. Thanx

Seeing that has made me want to look after myself even more than I already did. http://herbalviagras.info/sirmaximus-*****-enhancement.php

Has anyone experienced intense itching inside the urethral as a post op symptom/problem?
