Purpose of Position
This position will enter data and look up information in the Medical Cannabis Program database. It will also assist inanswering phones and serving clients and provide program support.This position is a Pay Band 25.

Operate data entry device, such as keyboard or photo composing perforator. Duties may include verifying data andpreparing materials for printing.
Nature of Work
Data entry keyers input lists of items, numbers, or other data, e.g., customers' personal information, medical records, ormembership lists, into computers or complete forms that appear on a computer screen. They also may reformat existingdata, edit current information, or proofread new entries for accuracy. Data entry keyers may use scanners, electronicallytransmitted files, or other forms of character recognition systems. Generally, these employees work standard workdays,but technology allows many to work from remote locations, including home, or during off hours when processing demandsare less.

Supplemental Information:Working Conditions
:Work is performed in an office setting with exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT) and extensive personalcomputer and phone usage. Standing, filing, bending and lifting up to 50 lbs may be required. In-state travel may berequired.
