Act II, Scene Three: I'll Take Care of You

Hello everyone and welcome back to SiMania Admods: The Musical! For Act 2, Scene 3 I'll Take Care of You. Last chapter we found out that Kea, the second generation's wife, was pregnant for the 3rd time, we had three birthdays for Friedrich, Liesl and Brigitta and this will be my third and last chapter for my turn with the joint legacy. Lots and lots of threes. So, without further ado, let's get on with it, shall we?

Little Brigitta here is a very loved toddler. Mark spends his multiple days off with his littlest daughter.

But he never forgets his number one lady Kea, and his baby on the way. I know I say this a lot, but it's because it shocks me, Mark does all of these cute things autonomously. So, of course I have to take pictures of it and say it's cute. ;)

Mark isn't the only one who adores the women in his family, Bernice follows the girls around making sure they know she loves them. I think since she hasn't been able to have puppies of her own, she likes to think of the girls as a being part of her pack.

I'm not exaggerating when I say Mark can't keep away from Kea. And if you look closely through the door, I can see where he got the example from. You blue sims and your libidos, er showering of affection, its, what's the word I'm searching for, well, let's go with adorable. Though maybe Friedrich would beg to differ...

Another day, another pic with Bernice following around the Encore children.

And more Kea and Mark loving. He barely lets the woman rest or eat for that matter.

And when Mark isn't vying for Kea's attention, little Brigitta wants her Mommy's attention.

Even though Mark isn't working towards life time want with his job, he is very successful. He was promoted to College Senior Professor one day.

And the next to Dean of Students. And a hard working family man is very happy to be greeted by his little Liesl when he gets home.

And then rush upstairs to make love to his pregnant wife. I have to imagine that Mark has Beautiful Life by Ace of Base stuck in his head from time to time. Because he really has it made. Or maybe that's what I'm listening to, don't judge! But it seemed to fit. ;)

Since Friedrich is the only nice child of generation 3 so far, he refrains from playing chess with his twin Liesl and instead talks to his Grandpa about the... economy. Not a typical conversation between a child and their grandparent. Don't scare him about the future too much Cleve!

The twins are doing really well in school, and tried to tell their sleeping Mom to no avail. But don't fret you two, she woke up from her nap an hour later and instinctively knew to cheer... How does that work? I had a really great dream, Layla Okay then.

The twins get along really well, which I'm thankful for. They spend a lot of their time telling jokes and goofing around. I figure once they are teens they'll have plenty of time to skill while their younger siblings catch up to them in age, so I let them have fun.

Speaking of their siblings catching up to them in age. Kea got the honor of taking little Brigitta to her birthday cake.

Brigitta was pretty excited about growing up apparently! Now we'll take a little break from the main family to see how Mark's siblings and nieces are doing

Christian and Joann's daughter Margaretta was growing up right before their eyes.

She loved her parents and loved her dogs. She was a sweet, quiet, little toddler.

And while her parents enjoyed dancing and smooching in the kitchen...

Margaretta enjoyed the solitude and peace of painting. She actually reminds me a lot of Joann during her college years. She'll just need to meet the right person for her later on to break her out of her shell.

From one couple in love, to another couple in love. Joann's twin Angel and his wife Aurora are still very much in love. It seems Christian and Aurora's attraction to each other on their vacation didn't ruin anything for these couples, which is fantastic!

It wasn't long before Aurora and Angel were expecting another child.

And their first child Louisa was one of the happiest toddlers I've had in my game in a while. She never cried for her parents when she woke up, she just sat there smiling and keeping herself entertained.

It wasn't long before Louisa was a beautiful little girl, the apple of her parents' eyes.

And soon their family of three, became four with the birth of Agatha.

She has her father's black hair and mixture between her mother and her grandfather's skin tones.

Life for Aurora and Angel's family consists of family, work and fun. They're a very tight knit family.

And the girls extend that to their cousin who comes home with them pretty much everyday from school.

This update of the spares ends with a look at Louisa as a teen, I don't think Aurora and Christian can believe that she sort of grew into her nose.

Back at the main Encore home, Kea is busy teaching little Brigitta to speak. And her first word was Mommy

And Kea's growing belly only seems to make Mark's affection grow. Layla, can you stop commenting on our love, you're ruining the mood I'm beginning to believe that nothing ruins the mood for you Mark!

With the twins off at school, and all of the other Encore adults off at work, Kea enjoys her days on her skilling couch. And Bernice stays nearby. It seems she's starting to follow around the youngest Encore before they're born.

In a rare moment, I let Liesl and Friedrich play chess together. Luckily Liesl seemed too interested in talking about aliens that she didn't try to cheat too often. And when she did, poor Friedrich was very gullible.

Finally Kea's pregnancy was over and she welcomed little Kurt into the world. He has the encore eyes and Mark's blue skin recessively. Liesl is the only other one so far to have the blue recessive. Kurt was named after the younger of the Von Trapp sons. He is pictured right with his sister Brigitta.

And, it wouldn't be a final pregnancy for a joint legacy in my game if it wasn't a multiple birth. Sorry Katie, the pregnancy was a bit of a surprise to be honest, and now twins to top it off. But the youngest and final Encore has the blue skintone! And the Encore eyes! And I let my boyfriend pick his name between Max and Rolfe and he picked Rolfe, I don't think he knew/remembered that Rolfe is a Nazi in the musical, but we'll let that one go and try to think about him when he was courting Liesl. Although that's a bit awkward too since this Rolfe has a sister named Liesl. So, we'll just think of him as Rolfe, and that's all. ;)

Though the babies still don't really get to interact in the swing, I still think it's adorable to have them in it so they can be around their siblings. Little Rolfe supervises as his older siblings get to work on homework and fun.

Now that the girls are both children they like to spend their time together drawing and talking. And quite possibly gossiping about their brother Friedrich who apparently dreams about himself... I wonder if this means he'll be a popularity sim?

Aria and Cleve love the newest additions to the family, Rolfe and Kurt alike. They spend most of their days caring for the infant twins while both Kea and Mark are off at work.

But they do still find time for each other. :)

Speaking of work, Kea has been promoted to an Inventor. She's come a long way since she joined the Encore family when she had no skill points at all, and is now well on her way to topping Science and completing her LTW.

The next night, Kea is promoted again to a scholar. And is greeted with a loving embrace by Brigitta.

After Kea had a little bit of time to unwind, Cleve found her and handed Rolfe over to her. Tonight is the twins' birthday!

Mark and Kea held their youngest and helped them to blow out their birthday candles.

The twins are both very adorable as toddlers. Though they are adorable, neither are nice. And though they have very different looks, they have the same personality points Gemini 5 Neat, 8 Outgoing, 9 Active, 3 Playful, and 1 Nice point.

No time is wasted with getting the twins talking and walking and they both learned their skills very quickly.

Even though both Friedrich and Liesl maxed their logic while playing chess with their mother, it looks like she has a ways to go yet.

The Encores love spending time with each other, which is sweet. And a little strange when you remember how mean they all are. Though it looks like Kurt is a little lover despite that and doesn't squeeze poor Simon too hard.

All of that chess playing with the twins has paid off. Kea has been promoted to a Top Secret Researcher! She is so close to her LTW now. :D

I think Kurt might be Cleve's favorite grandchild...

I always find the two of them together either snuggling, singing or learning.

A few days after her eldest children master the logic skill, their mother does as well. This will help Kea be eligible for another promotion.

Mark is now at the top of his career and is the Education Minister. Though he is happy about this, he really just yearns for a long and happy life with Kea.

And that golden anniversary is creeping ever closer, because tonight it is Friedrich and Liesl's birthdays!

Liesl is a Knowledge/Pleasure sim who loves fit, unemployed sims but dislikes blondes. Friedrich is a Popularity/Knowledge sim (his dreams about himself make sense now) and loves swimsuits and hats but doesn't like fit sims.

And it turns out it is a double twin birthday as Liesl and Friedrich take their brothers Rolfe and Kurt respectively to their birthday cakes.

Little Kurt looks more and more like his mother the older he gets, but it seems he has his father's chin too.

And Rolfe really looks like a spitting image of his Dad and therefore his Grandma Aria.

Now that the twins are older they spend a lot of their time together, in their matching pjs.

Kea has been promoted again to a Theorist. And she is happily greeted by her youngest child Rolfe when he got home from his first day of school.

Little Rolfe then asked his mother for some help with his homework.

And then a game that was disguised as passing a football, but was really, Try to hit your Mom in the face with a football, and smile and shrug it off But he did also find out that sports are his predestined hobby.

Kurt and Rolfe remind me a lot of Mark and his brother Angel. Mark's children share his love of a mean smustle, and to my happiness they don't do it nearly as close together as Mark and Angel!

While the boys are smustling, the girls are inside skilling and working on homework. It looks like Mark would rather be smustling himself.

Or maybe his face is just stuck like that. Didn't your mother ever tell you not to make a strange face because it might stick that way?

Mark held that same expression for a while that night while he had thoughts about not liking his youngest son? He must be in the bathroom.

This is the look Liesl had on her face as she maxed out her cooking skill. Well, I think it's sort of strange that I'm not an 'expert' chef, but I've never actually gone into our kitchen and made something... I agree with you on that one Liesl!

I would call this look the What am I supposed to do now? look. Why? Well, Kea is now Perma-Plat That's right, she is now a Mad Scientist.

Fortunately, Mark ran out and reminded her what life is really about him er, love, right, love.

We haven't seen much of young Friedrich since his birthday, because for the most part he has been spending his time skilling. But now, he's started skilling with girls. Good job breaking out of your bubble Friedrich. ;) And notice that Friedrich is one of the few generation 3 kids that you ever see playing chess, it's his 10 nice points that make him able to. I don't want family feuds beginning over a chess game!

And when you do see his siblings playing chess it's by themselves. Hey, it's not my fault they would cheat and then end up hating each other. I'm just preventing drama. ;)

Miss Liesl here has maxed her creativity and you can see Brigitta has maxed her logic. Girls in this family sure do love to skill. Think back to Joann in college with her hooligan brothers that liked to smustle on top of each other practically while she studied or painted.

Brigitta is now a teen, and she is a Knowledge/Wealth sim who loves cologne and logical sims but dislikes full face make-up. No clowns for this young Encore lady please.

And to celebrate her birthday, Brigitta decides to sit herself down on the skill couch and she maxes out her charisma skills.

Let the skilling wars begin!! Seriously, these two knowledge teen sisters seemed to be battling it out for who would max their skills first.

Brigitta really seemed to be giving Liesl a run for her money she skills with impressive speed, and Liesl didn't like it. Well Miss Liesl, maybe you should have spent more time skilling as a child then dancing with your brother if it were that important to you...

But with perseverance, the help of the skilling couch, a snapdragon bouquet, and huge grin Liesl won the great skilling battle of 2012 winning her 30,000 aspiration points maxing out all of her skill points. Too bad that wasn't her life time want.

Friedrich is way behind his twin in his skilling, so when he wanted a drumkit, I indulged him, and let him max out creativity that way.

During that same day, Brigitta maxed out her skills as well, which wasn't her LTW either unfortunately.

Despite her lack of nice points, Brigitta is quite caring and I often find her tucking her younger brothers in at night.

Mark's elder birthday really snuck up on me! Before I knew it he was grimacing and swirling. (Notice Kurt in the background playing chess on his own, it makes me feel a little mean... but only a little mean)

And he is pale too just like his mother, but this time I was expecting it. :D

And Kea loves him just the same. Now, once she's an elder too, Mark will be content.

The next day, their faithful dog Simon was taken from them. Mark and Kea were the only two home and they were asleep at the time, so Bernice was the only one to see Simon go. He was a sweet dog, he will be missed.

When Brigitta got home, she was shocked to find out that Simon had passed away. So she immediately found Bernice and fed her some Kibble of Life. Everyone loves Bernice and I think they're all still hoping that she will have a litter some day.

With all of the commotion with Simon's death, I hadn't realized it was Rolfe and Kurt's birthdays. :( But they grew up platinum anyway, thankfully. Rolfe is a Pleasure/Fortune sim who loves fit sims that can cook, but dislikes blondes (that makes two this generation that don't like blondes, that's a rarer one) Kurt is a Popularity/Pleasure sim who loves fit sims that wear glasses but dislikes jewelry.

Since Mark's LTW is so close to being achieved, Kea is only one day away from being an elder, I'm holding onto the family for a few days after the twins are teens.

And to keep the teens platinum or at least gold for the switch, I indulge Liesl's wants to win a dancing competition. But, she can't beat her sister Brigitta or her Grandpa Cleve, so she and her twin retreat to dance elsewhere.

Brigitta and Friedrich are kept in good moods by painting masterpieces and selling them and learning how to make pottery. While Cleve and Mark slapdance away on the porch.

It's rare to see the boys working and not goofing around. But rest assured, they will be dancing again shortly.

In another effort to get Liesl gold or platinum, I finally invite the headmaster over for dinner.

But things don't go quite as planned. Aria was beckoned to the other side during the headmaster's visit. Rest in peace Aria Encore.

I find it very realistic that my sims usually go to the room and sleep in the bed of a sim that has just passed. I know scents and pictures are very comforting to humans, so its touching to see my sims follow suit. This happens pretty much every time a sim dies in my game.

Despite losing their Grandmother the family was able to pull it together and get into private school. Since Mark is the Education Minister, it really would have been embaressing if they were not accepted!

Later that evening it was time to celebrate Kea's birthday.

The next day, Kea and Mark celebrated their golden anniversary with a small group of family and friends. Mark was very happy and finally perma-platinum.

After all these sim years, the couple was still very happy together.

With the completion of Mark's LTW, my turn with the Encores is officially over. I hope you join the family again next chapter for the beginning of ilovereecee/Katie's turn.
