The Bearded Bandit Special Attention: Rhode Island & Massachusetts Law enforcement needs your help to identify the Bearded Bandit who has robbed six banks since February 2012. Take a close look at the facial features of the Bearded Bandit. Do not be fooled by the hair or beard as he may be wearing a wig and possibly a dyed or fake beard. If you have information that can help identify him please contact the Rhode Island State Police (401-444-1164), Massachusetts State Police (978-451-3700) or FBI (A reward has been offered). The Bearded Bandits first robbery was in Massachusetts in February. Since that time he has robbed five banks in Rhode Island. His robberies are about 30 days apart and usually occur between 2:00 PM and 3:30 PM. Tellers are threatened and told he has a gun, but does not show it. He speaks on a cell phone during the robbery. Police believe he may change his clothes after he flees on foot. He often wears a brown hooded sweatshirt, blue knit cap, and warm up pants, but he has also worn a light green baseball cap and great hooded shirt with flames on the front and sleeves. DESCRIPTION RACE: White SEX: Male AGE: 30s-40s HGT: 510 NOTES 1. May have a tattoo on left shoulder (flames) 2. Full lips 3. Unique Nasal bridge
