After graduating with a degree in economics from BYU and earning a law degree from Stanford, Mark then began his career in corporate law with Latham & Watkins, a large international firm, before switching to management consulting with McKinsey & Company. There he helped a large multitude of various companies chart their strategies and increase earnings. Over the past 18 years, Mark has helped dozens of organizations fix bottlenecks and wasted processes, improving their services and increasing earnings.

As a 7th generation Utahan, Ben spent two years in Brazil, where he became fluent in Portuguese. He has since learned conversational Spanish. He graduated from the University of Utah and then earned a law degree from Columbia Law School. He has practiced law in New York and Utah. Ben currently serves in the Utah State Senate, representing Salt Lake City, South Salt Lake, and West Valley City. He also teaches at the University of Utah College of Law. Ben and his wife, Julie, and their four young children reside in Salt Lake City, where they enjoy hiking (catching bugs), cheering at their kids Saturday morning soccer games, and serving in their church.

Mark lives in Holladay with his wife Judy, his two daughters and their dog, Molly. Judy is a stay-at-home mom who helped create and produce the Revlon Run/Walk for Women, an annual event that has raised and distributed over $65 million for womens cancer research, treatment and outreach programs.
