To the cast and crew of OZand their carers/parents,Firstly I would like to congratulate every single person involved with OZ and HAMLET forputting on some great shows which I know for many of you would have been your first performanceon a different stage.We are writing with further details of the drama festival that OZ is entered into and provideparents/carers with the itinerary (see page2). Please bear in mind the timings are approximate.The Woking Drama Festival is one of many opportunities for local drama groups to perform in areal theatre. It is a great chance to hear constructive feedback from professionals who also awardprizes in different categories. Our show which will be performed on Thursday 18th October,if successful, could be chosen to be performed again on Saturday 20th October as part of theFinale Night for the entire festival.After our performance the cast and crew will be able to see the other play as part of the audiencefor free. However, we appreciate that this is a ‘school night’ and it will be a late finish for some of the cast. If you decide that you would prefer for your child to leave before the second play this isan option but you would need to make your own arrangements for the return trip.The cast will have to arrive with time to spare so we are looking to organise lifts and would ask foryour help in organising ‘car pools’ to help transport the cast. As an added incentive we have alimited number of free tickets for designated drivers willing to offer their services. (Excludingprops, costume and scenery there are 13 children to transport there and back).The Rhoda McGaw Theatre has 250 seats we need help to fill.Tickets are available from: www.wokingdramafestival.co.uk, 01932 562 762 or 07794 624 106.Tickets are only £8.00 and there is a multi-storey car park available at the adjacent PeacocksCentre, directions are available via the Festival website.The itinerary is on the following page with a returns slip.
