Abstract
 This module introduces fundamental skills for the appropriate communicationof architectural design. It engages different means of visualizationand expression of space and spatial ideas through architecturaldrawings and modelling to prepare students with the skills requiredin Design projects. These skills are taught through a series of freehand, constructed drawing, and architectural modelling heldboth outdoors and in the studio. 
Teaching Objectives
 To introduce design communication skills through architectural graphics andmodeling.
 To develop skills in visualization and communication of architectural idea,space and form.
Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this module, students will be able to:1.Describe and identify the different types of architectural designcommunication and their roles in conveying architectural ideas, forms, andspace.2.Illustrate architectural forms and spaces through visualization andexpression of space in the form of free-hand drawing.3.Analyze visual information using 2D and 3D technical drawings andarchitectural model which demonstrate the ideas of space and form.4.Produce architectural ideas and designs through 2D and 3D technicaldrawings.5.Produce an architectural model which demonstrates the ideas of space andformApply learnt skills and techniques in producing visual materials for designproject and portfolio.
