B.Tech – MBA Dual Degree Programme
Admission Notice (Academic Year 2012-13)
University School of Management Studies, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Dwarka,Delhi, invites applications for admissions to its prestigious B.Tech-MBA Dual DegreeProgramme for the Academic Year 2012-2013.
Admissions are open only to the students who are in their 4
Semester of B.TechProgrammes and studying in the University schools including IGIT.
Total numbers of seats available are 60 and shall be distributed among various branchesof B.Tech Programme in proportion of the number of students in 4
Semester of respectiveprogrammes.
: Admissions shall be made in the order of merit determined on the basis of marks secured by the eligible students in their 1
semester examinations of the B.TechProgramme. Students from a particular branch will be considered only against the seats allocatedto that particular branch. However, the unfilled seats out of the allotted seats for a particularbranch will be filled by the eligible students of other branches on the basis of merit without anyregard to the branch.
Admitted students are required to pay annual fee of Rs.5000/- (exclusive of the fee to bepaid by them for their B.Tech programme) in their 3
year and 4
year. The fee to be paid in the5
year of the programme shall be equivalent to the fee paid by the MBA final year students inthat academic year.
The last date for submission of applications is July 10,2012. The University reserves rightto consider applications submitted after the last date provided there are any vacant seats.

Option to exit at the end of 4
year with a certificate in management.
Student admitted to the program will be offered a minimum of two courses inManagement discipline in every semester starting from 5
semester of their B.Tech-MBAprogramme. Exemption may be granted in respect of courses that are covered under scheme of syllabi of their respective B.Tech programme provided such courses or equivalent courses arecleared by the students in their respective B.Tech programmes. Those students who are noteligible for exemption of management courses will be offered courses in addition to the minimumtwo courses. In the 9
semester of B.Tech – MBA Programme the students are requiredto take 7 and 6 courses respectively which interalia includes courses from major and minorspecializations.
Classes for the courses offered in the Management subjects will be held two days in a week including weekends. Filled in applications can be submitted in the University School of Management Studies, Block D, Room No. 207.For further details contact:
