Customizing Microsoft Lync 2010 Quick Start Guides

The Lync 2010 Quick Start Guides are provided in .html format. You can customize the guides according to the needs of your organization. Each Quick Start Guide has a corresponding folder that contains the assets for the guide, including images and the style sheets. To produce a Word document from the .html documents 1. Double-click a Quick Start .html file in the QuickStarts folder to open the file in a web browser. 2. Copy the contents, including graphics, from the Quick Start document and paste them into a Word document. 3. Save the Word document as a .doc or .docx file. 4. Make the modifications you need for your organization to the Word document. To add the .html documents to an intranet site Each Quick Start has a corresponding folder that contains the images and style sheets for the file. The .html document references the images and style sheet. When posting the .html document to a new location, you must also move the corresponding folder or copy the assets from the folder to a new location and then modify the references in the .html document.
