The Reliance Accelerated Leadership Program (ALP) is aimed at bringing in a very select group of high-performing professionals who will

take on very senior leadership roles across the organisation over the next few years. It is a program for experienced and high-performing professionals between 27 and 34 years of age, professionals who are truly capable and passionate about working in high-growth businesses. Eligibility

Between 27 to 34 years of age as on 1 January 2011 (that is, must have been born between 1 January 1976 and 1 January 1983) Between 27 to 34 years of age as on 1 January 2011 (that is, must have been born between 1 January 1977 and 31 December 1983) Have an engineering degree. If you do not meet this criterion, you should either be an MBA or a chartered accountant or have some other advanced professional degree. Highly entrepreneurial and self driven High achievers with an outstanding academic or professional record Have at least 12 months of relevant work experience in the function of their choice (for the first phase, the functions are Human Resources, Finance, Procurement and IT). Over four years of total work experience is strongly preferred.

Selection Process: The Reliance ALP selection process is very rigorous. The applicants will be shortlisted based on a number of criteria such as academic achievements, extra-curricular achievements or leadership displayed at work. Every application will be reviewed by experienced recruiters who will look for opportunities to select you. In your application, you must focus on your individual achievements and your contribution to team achievements. It is advisable to include a prioritised set of information that positions you best. Shortlisted applicants will appear for a short, specially designed personality and business aptitude assessment. Successful candidates will be invited for interviews with Reliance HR leaders and respective functional leaders. Program includes:

Four weeks of orientation to help you understand the Reliance Way Three months of functional and leadership training delivered by faculty from top business schools and industry experts 18 20 months of breakthrough assignments in your selected function

Training : Business Bridge: This is a six-week program for those who do not have a formal management degree. It will focus on the essentials that every high-performing professional should know. Leadership Program: Partnered with McKinsey & Company to bring their world-renowned approach to leadership development to the ALP. The program focuses on leading oneself, others, business and 'change' as an integrated practice. These programs will be held both at Reliance campuses in India and at business schools abroad and develop new skills of top management perspective.
