•City was awarded a $2.225 million grantunder the HUD Sustainable CommunitiesChallenge Grants program in 2010.•Grant funds are available for planning andpre development assistance related toaffordable housing and TOD during a three-year period•Fregonese Associates was selected from 12firms to carry out the planning activitiesrelated to the grant.
