    This is the brief ruling from the Florida appeals court affirming the district court dismissal of the wrongful death lawsuit against Scientology and three individual Scientologists over the death of Kyle Brennan. Unusually, the court did not even bother to give its reasons. Luke Lirot, attorney for Kyle Brennan's mother, wrote: "What an incredible disappointment! We will get no further explanation, no comment, and no articulation of where the arguments I made were inaccurate, insufficient, or wrong. I despise those situations where a Court rules against me, but does not articulate any basis to support their decision. It does not happen often, but this is clearly the worst example of that hollow practice. We can go to the Supreme Court, but that is the equivalent of a lottery ticket, since they take less than 3% of the petitions filed with them. A sad day for American justice, or the lack thereof."

    PER CURIAM: After full review and oral argument, we conclude that the PlaintiffAppellant Estate of Kyle Thomas Brennan has demonstrated no reversible error in the district courts order, dated December 6, 2011, granting summary judgment to the Defendants-Appellees, Church of Scientology Flag Service Organization, Inc., Denise Gentile, Gerald Gentile, and Thomas Brennan. AFFIRMED.
