Dear Non-Profit Organization:We invite you to partner with us as we prepare to hold our third annual global educationextravaganza this November. Our annual conference seeks to present ideas, examples, andprojects related to connecting educators and classrooms with a strong emphasis on promotingglobal awareness, fostering global competency, and inspiring action towards solving real–worldproblems.The free2012 Global Education Conferencewill take place entirely online during InternationalEducation Week (November 12-16, 2012) and thousands of students, educators, andrepresentatives from NGOs will gather around the clock in our Blackboard Collaborate virtualrooms to connect and collaborate. This year, we are very pleased to beco-organizing theconference with the International Education and Resource Network (iEARN) as they will beholding their annual conference and youth summit virtually and simultaneous to our event.In addition to general sessions presented by individuals and groupsfocused on globalcollaboration, other conference highlights includea virtual film exhibitionin which professionals,amateurs and students can showcase their work. We also have an array of thought leaders onboard to deliver keynote addresses. Among many notables, a fewkeynote speakersare AndrewRevkin of the New York Times, non-profit social media specialist Beth Kanter, and children’sauthor Seymour Simon.Last year’s conferenceconsisted of over 300 general sessions, 18 keynote addresses, and over 10,000 participant logins.100+partner organizationsand dedicated volunteers have beeninvolved in the planning, promotion and execution of this event over the past two years as well.The Global Education Conference represents a special opportunity for those involved withglobal education to network and learn from each other, and we sincerely hope that yourorganization will join us for this year’s journey.

Our partnership program is designed to promote information about your organization and toinvolve people from your networks in our conference activities. In exchange for broadcastingconference details to your colleagues or membership, we will spotlight one representativesession conducted by a representative from your organization during the Global EducationConference. We will also post contact information about your non-profit inour partner directory and will informally use social media frequently to share news and resources posted by ourpartners.Underlying our partnerships is the extensive reach that my co-chair Steve Hargadon and I havedeveloped while working across the field of education.
