--- Seventeen campus Queens representing many of the nation’sHistorically Black Colleges and Universities HBCUs) will compete for the title of Miss National Black College Alumni Hall of Fame (Miss NBCA) on Saturday,September 29 in Atlanta.The national competition is held annually during the National Black CollegeAlumni Hall of Fame Foundation Weekend Conference. The National BlackCollege Alumni Hall of Fame Foundation, Inc. (Hall of Fame) is a 501(c)3organization dedicated to the growth and development of HBCUs throughscholarships, internships, training and technical assistance, alumni recognition,and programs to encourage humanitarian involvement.The organization will celebrate its 27
Anniversary this year at the HyattRegency Atlanta with an exciting lineup of events, competitions and professionaldevelopment workshops for black college alumni, current students,administrators, faculty, staff and supporters.The Competition of College Queens is one the weekend’s highlighted events andshowcases young women who not only aspire to be entrepreneurs, doctors,scientists, journalists and teachers, but also currently work in their respectivecommunities to advocate on behalf of various national and international causes.
