PHOTO DATES 2012-2013 PUT THIS ON THE WALL AT HOME Underclassmen & ID photo procedures ALL packages must be prepaid. **Please decide on a package to order and bring money WITH YOU to the LGI the day of photos. Forms will be given out in homerooms. Yearbook & ID photos are FREE. **Students will come by social studies classes to have their photo taken in August but make-ups will be done by appointment only. **These photos will be used for ID cards and in the yearbook. While we do come to homerooms and pass IDs and photo packages out, if students are absent, it is their responsibility to pick them up in room 207. **Please refer any questions to pkerner@kcs.kana.k12.wv.us

August 22nd: ALL STUDENTS will have photos taken. Seniors, this will only be your ID picture. You can, however, purchase these if you like. October 17th: SENIOR FORMALS at the school. This is free for yearbook only shot. $10.00 sitting fee for 4-5 poses and proof package mailed to your home. October 25th: Make-up day for underclassmen and ID cards. November 14th: Freestyle/Friendship photos January 29th: New seniors who transfer in will have the opportunity to take Senior Formals. February 19th: Cap and gown photos for Seniors. March 26th: NEW. NEW. SPRING CASUALS. A new and different background from the August 22nd pose. Check the website when you return to school for more information on each of these.

Senior Photography Procedures

**While you may photos taken anywhere you choose, WE MUST HAVE A PHOTO FROM LIFETOUCH FOR THE YEARBOOK. ** Lifetouch will be here at the school to take formals only. This is the tux and drape traditional shot. You may make an appointment at their office to have a variety of photos including formals taken. While you may also dress up for this rather than wear the tux and drape, there is only one option/ change of clothes photographed. This is a FREE photo, however, a $10 sitting fee covers several poses and mailing these proofs to your house. All students need to have their photo taken on this day. You will receive a timecard in the mail about two weeks before this with information. DO NOT throw the timecard away. SEE DATES ABOVE. **Look for more information on how to dress from your homeroom teachers or stop by room 207.

ATTENTION PARENTS OF SENIORS PLEASE READ SENIOR PARENT ADS: Are you looking for an inexpensive way to recognize your child? A parent ad in the yearbook is the perfect thing. Just fill out the order form below and return it to the yearbook staff. Offer this option to grandparents for graduating seniors or as a surprise. Please, only one ad per student. SENIOR AD OPTIONS _________Three lines of message with your students name $25.00 _________Three lines of type with a small picture of student $40.00 _________Three lines of type with two pictures of student $50.00 (this is perfect for a baby and a current or graduation picture). ________DESIGN YOUR OWN!! $60.00 If you have skills with photos, design your own ad. Dimensions no larger than 6 inches wide by 5 tall. Submit it on disc, printed, or cd. Put in all you want. Photos and message must be appropriate for yearbook inclusion. We reserve the right to ask for changes to the submitted ad. Next years SENIORS: Pictures for the 2012-2013 school year. The time is here. You are officially seniors! You will receive in the mail this summer information about your senior portraits for the yearbook from LIFETOUCH PRESTIGE PHOTOS. Lifetouch is the official photographer for Capital High School and are the photographers you have had your school photos taken by each year. While some seniors choose to have other photographers do photos, please be reminded that the only photo for the yearbook we can accept is from Lifetouch. Lifetouch encourages you to come to their studio over the summer for a portrait session as you will have more time to do different poses in a less rushed situation. If you do not do this, Lifetouch will be at school in the fall to take yearbook photos for seniors as usual. There are limited studio sessions available especially in the fall so PLAN NOW! Deadline for senior portraits is February 14, 2013
Please read the instructions below about proper attire for portraits.

Men: 1. Tuxedo provided by Lifetouch. These will be available at the school shoot as well. 2. dress shirt and tie of your own. You can still have the regular photo taken when Lifetouch comes to take your photo for your ID card but the senior portrait needs to be a formal one.
