to benefit Renovation Ministries .$25 due October 7th and includes t-shirt.When I ask a guest or new member whatattracted them to Eastmont, I get a variety of responses. Some are looking for a fresh start, anew place to serve, or children/youth ministry fortheir family. One even told me they wereconfused and thought this was Frazer. Yet thenumber one reason people tell me they come toEastmont is because someone invited them.We are calling it “1,001 Blessings” Over theMonth of October I’m asking you, our church, tointentionally provide 1,001 blessings to others. The possibilities are enormous: an encouragingnote, a caring visit, a modest gift, an affirmingcompliment or some act of service. Ask God toguide you. On November 4, we would like you toshare in your Sunday School class about a blessingyou either gave or received during the month. The Rock-A-Thon for Dozier school exceededour expectations. Thanks to so many who made itpossible, especially Ed Bowman and our senioradult ministry.Pray for several special events this month. I’llbe going with our Carpenters for Christ next week. Also pray for Trunk or Treat and Judgment Housewhich is being sponsored by several area churches. We always appreciate Rick Jones and his annualconcert that benefits missions.Deciding for whom to vote for president is noteasy. Two criteria I use are competency andvalues. However you make your decision, be sureto pray and be involved by actively voting!I’ll see you Sunday,
