Presentation Presenting the (15 Minutes) prepositions. 1. Teacher presents the target prepositions to the students. 2. Teacher demonstrates how to write sentences using the prepositions learned. 3. Teacher demonstrates appropriate movement/actions related to the prepositions presented. 4. Teacher asks help from few students to do the movement/actions. 1. Students sit in group 2. SEPTEMBER 27TH
Introduce the target prepositions to the students. TPR is used to reinforce students understanding of the prepositions. Teacher can recognize students who still has problem in understanding certain prepositions. Give chance for students to use the prepositions learned in sentences. Students express their creativity in a control condition. TA Slides on prepositions/set of pictures. Try to come out with instructions that involve the whole class, eg: 5 Dahlia is standing along the corridor. Make sure there is enough room for this activity. Teacher needs to walk around from group to group in order to help them with the sentence constructions. Teacher encourage students to use simple and compound sentences. If possible, try to do this like a battle between two groups.

Production (20 Minutes)

Acting out the story.

Students repeat the usage of preposition by acting it out so that it will be easier for them to remember the meaning. To remind students what they have learnt and how it can be used in real life.

Closure (7 Minutes)

1. Teacher asks student how they feel after acting. 1. Teacher reminds student on practising what they learned in real life. For example, using prepositions when they want to talk about something and its location.

1. Students sit in their groups. 2. Teacher shows an example of a story which used a lot of prepositions. 3. Teacher shows how action can be done to tell the stories. Eg: There are lots of monsters along Jalan Sulaiman few students act like monsters and line up straight. 4. In group, students write their own ridiculous-preposition story, which make use of prepositions they learned. Students them read the story while acting it out in front of the class.
