Case 1:98-cv-08272-RPP-JCF Document 839

Filed 09/19/12 Page 1 of 1

Dear Judge Patterson,

In June of this year I had the opportunity to hear Mr.Leonard Rowe speak at the national

Press Club in Washington D.C. He spoke about his case which is now pendingbefore
you.

I wanted to vvTite to you, sir, to say that I am an army veteran that served in Iraq and Afghanistan.1 would like to also say that I fought along side of young African American men and women that bravely and diligently put their lives on the line for this country. You must not allow this injustice to continue in this case. The defendants in this awful case have a policy and practice of manipulating our justice system in order to avoid a jury at all cost. You must not allow this to happen.
Mr. Rowe brought tears to my eyes while listening to him speak. You must allow ajury

to decide this case. Then justice will be served for all.
