This being Dare to Care month there will be a skit this morning about Naaman's Servant girl showing how she dared to care about Naaman and encouraged him to find God's healing. There will also be a really cool experiment! Just wanted to thank everyone that came out for the Alzheimer's Memory Walk yesterday. I really appreciated it! I also want to thank all those who donated towards this cause. There were 16 people from our church that made the walk. Thank you for braving the cold weather! - Lisa 5:00 7:00 PM., Sunday, October 28 Annual Trunk or Treat in Atterberry Park. Let us know if you would like to help out. Saturday, November 3, 2012 is the date for Atlanta United Methodist Church Lord's Portion Dinner and Country Store. The menu includes chicken and noodles, beans, fried potatoes w/onions, homemade pies and other desserts. the meal is free will offering. Country store items are prices as marked. We will begin serving at 11:00 a.m. - from PastorD (Denzil Thomas, United Methodist Church minister) The church kids now have a page on facebook too.
