Surveying System provides theSurveyor with a turn-key GPS solution. The Rascalsupports all methods of GPS surveying, includingreal-time kinematic, post-processed static, rapidstatic and kinematic. Establishing local control, boundarywork, stakeout, and topographic mapping can beaccomplished efficiently with a one-person operation.
The Rascal Dual Frequency GPS Receiver
The Rascal Surveying System is designed for mobilityto make GPS surveying quick and easy. At the heartof the system is the lightweight, low-power Rascalreceiver, which uses AOA’s exclusive dual-frequencyGPS technology. The Rascal not only provides thehigh-accuracy GPS-engine, but also provides analpha-numeric keypad and display which alleviatesthe need for a data-collector for many types of jobs.The Rascal is extremely flexible, and offers auser-friendly interface providing storage for andaccess to all the information necessary for any GPSsurvey. This easy to operate system includes featuressuch as on-the-fly (OTF) ambiguity resolution, 2 MBstandard memory storage, and a single battery thatpowers the unit all-day.
