Dear John, Although we haven't locked in our formal November launch date, I wanted to let you know right away that I 've decided not to broadcast my show with Genesis Communications. As we've discussed in the past, I have always had a concern about our Broadcast agreement's limitations and prohibitions of "derogatory and/or defamatory remarks specifically naming an individual, corporation or other legal entity therein.....and Any disputes with existing radio programs over GCN Inc. are not to be aired.", particularly as it relates to my criticism of Alex Jones. Even as you stated, I will be allowed to criticize Alex, but would not be able to cross the line, as there have been prior incidents involving Alex Jones that did not turn out well for hosts who have gone up against him. In light of what I perceive to be a conflict of interest and for what I anticipate will become a highly competitive scenario between Alex Jones and myself, I am terminating my agreement to broadcast for Genesis Communications. Please also accept my apologies if this has caused any inconvenience, as I know you were working very hard to make room for my show with production staffing and scheduling. I realize it's late notice, but I wanted to let you know my decision as soon as possible before November. John, you have been awesome since day one, and I want to let you know how much I appreciate everything you have done to help me --- it's been a learning experience, to say the least. I have had some grave concerns about the integrity and direction of the Alex Jones show, the historical leader in alternative media, and I believe it's best for me to maintain my independence and loyalty to the listeners who have been coming to my show, desperately looking for a fresh voice and perspective. I'm sure you understand and agree that I could never remain true to my core values and integrity if I am with Genesis, and I sincerely believe that I can compete with him for the top slot as the most respected voice in alternative media. In these uncertain times, listeners are looking for unbridled, uncensored, unbiased truth and they shall receive that from my show from this point forward. Thanks for everything you have done for me & good luck. Please also be advised that I will be discontinuing the Midas Resources ads effective immediately, so you can take me off the daily spot update distribution list.
