Jurassic Park IV Screenplay -
It's been seven years since a young boy became stranded on Isla Sorna after a freak para-sailing accident. After that incident it became apparent to the Costa Rican Government and the United Nations that more had to be done. The island had to be better protected from civilians, that much was clear, but the world had a right to better understand these animals.
With the support of the UN and Costa Rican Government John Hammond has established a biological conservation reserve on Isla Sorna. The animals are placed on the endangered species list, and protected by international law. A UN security force is permanently responsible for the islands protection. John Hammond calls upon world renowned paleontologist, Dr. Alan Grant, to be the preserves game warden. Grant, along with a small team of scientists, are responsible for the care and management of the animals.
Meanwhile, the carcasses of dead dinosaurs begin to wash upon shore-lines across South-Central America, and death follows in their wake. A mysterious virus begins to spread - and it's lethal. Dr. Henry Wu, the former geneticist from International Genetics Technology the company responsible for resurrecting extinct dinosaurs, is now with the World Health Organization and recognizes the virus as a demon from his past.
Now it is up to Wu, Grant, and a team of dedicated scientists, to penetrate deep into the heart of Isla Sorna and locate a cure for the virus, before it erupts into a global pandemic. All the while avoiding the deadly wildlife that inhabits the island. Little do they know, the expedition is about to take a turn for the worst, ultimately lead to an explosive ending.
