Indirect Object Pronouns (I.O.P.) havesimilar forms as the Direct Objectpronouns (D.O.P) but are used differently.
Remember that the Direct Object nounsand pronouns are the “what” or the “who” of the sentence.
Indirect Object Pronouns on the otherhand tell “to whom” or “for whom” anactions is performed.
Generally speaking, when it comes toI.O.P, there is something being receivedby the IOP. (gift, permission, etc.)
