Bacterial structure, metabolism andgrowth
Bacterial cells belong to procariotic cells in opposition toeucariotic cells
Each cell contains DNA genome – the genetic basis forreproduction. It is kind of biochemical machinery for transcribinggenetical information into mRNA and translatig the mRNA intoproteins. This machinery is used for biosynthesis, cell divissionand replication.
The structure of bacterial cell is specific, because of the diffrentenvironment in which the cell lives, the source and means of thecell’s energy production, the nature and requirement for cellinterreaction.
