Welcome all ISPRS SC Newsleer readers!
Since the rst youth acvies in Istanbul Congress in 2004, IS-PRS Student Consorum provides a link between the sciencand technical world and lls the gaps between the generaonsof the society. Although a short me for such a global network,students and young professionals from all around the world - sofar more than 30 countries - gathered together under ISPRS SC,believing that they are the keystones for a more sustainable en-vironment and a beer World.Within four years, many students and young professionals havebeneted from being part of ISPRS SC. The rst acvies of theyouth forum in the previous Congress program has become anocial part of the ISPRS Congresses and Beijing youth forum withtechnical oral and panel sessions, panels, SC assembly will takeplace. In recent years youth focused ISPRS Workshops and Sum-mer Schools have taken place. At these workshops specialisedtopics provide a meeng point for the young scholars to learnmore from the World’s leading experts. Our acve mailing list of the SC and the ocial web site are opening new opportuniesfor the members of the Student Consorum, for example, freeeducaonal and technical materials, job and training announce-ments, discussion boards and much more... The periodic news-leer of the SC prepared by its members has been a key tool fornews and synchronising the knowledge from around the world.We believe, the number of increased volunteer members tosupport the backbone of SC acvies and Regional Coordina-tors who aim to increase the eciency of the SC are the bestclues that day by day the interest to SC increasing and reachingto more individuals. In the coming years, we hope to see a con-nued growth in membership within the Student Consorum.
