Expanding the revolutionary theories of mind explored in the bestselling The Crack in the Cosmic Egg and The Biology of Transcendence, Joseph Chilton Pearce explains how the heart provides the balancing intelligence to the brains calculating intellect, an innate system of emotional-mental coherence lost generations ago through a breakdown of the nurturing culture of our ancestors. By severing ourselves from our heart intelligence, we are left with our selfish, survival-oriented reptilian brains, which create and reinforce strange loops between potential and actual reality, leading to our modern worlds endless cycle of self-inflicted disasters and societal crises. Pearce explains that in order to break these cycles and transcend a life focused solely on surviving the results of our own reactive patterns, we must reconnect with the compassionate intelligence of the heart. Offering a rich variety of evidence, Pearce explores neurological research, lost and enduring nurturing cultures, personal experiences, and accounts from the lives and writings of modern sages such as Jane Goodall, Maria Montessori, and Rudolf Steiner. He shows that by activating the original matrix of the Heart-Mindthe engine of our spiritual evolution and our innate connection to the universewe can teach our brains new ways to think, amend our destructive behavior loops, and enter into a future of peace, spiritual connection, and conscious evolution. Joseph Chilton Pearce is the author of many books, including The Biology of Transcendence, The Crack in the Cosmic Egg, and Magical Child. Since the 1970s, he has lectured and led workshops about the changing needs of children and the development of human society. He lives in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia.

Forgotten Civilization
The Role of Solar Outbursts in Our Past and Future
RoBERT M. SCHoCH, Ph.D.
scientific confirmation of advanced civilization at the end of the last ice age, the solar catastrophe that destroyed it, and what the evidence means for our future
Demonstrates, based on the 12,000-year-old megalithic complex of Gbekli Tepe, that advanced civilization extends thousands of years further back than generally acknowledged Examines the catastrophic solar outbursts that ended the last ice age, wiping out antediluvian civilization and incinerating much of the evidence of that period Reveals data that show solar outbursts powerful enough to devastate modern society could return in the future

Robert M. Schoch, Ph.D., a tenured faculty member at Boston University, earned his doctorate in geology and geophysics at Yale University in 1983. His books include Pyramid Quest, Voyages of the Pyramid Builders, Voices of the Rocks, Stratigraphy, Environmental Science, and The Parapsychology Revolution.

Catherine Ulissey

Building upon his revolutionary theory that the Sphinx dates back much further than 2500 BCE, geologist Robert Schoch reveals scientific evidence of advanced civilization predating ancient Egypt, Sumeria, and Greece, as well as the catastrophe that destroyed it nearly 12,000 years ago and what its legacy can teach us about our own future. Combining evidence from multiple scientific disciplines, Schoch shows how the last ice age ended abruptly in 9700 BCE due to coronal mass ejections from the Sun. These solar outbursts unleashed electrical/plasma discharges upon Earth and triggered volcanic activity, earthquakes, fires, and massive floods as glaciers melted and lightning strikes released torrential rains from the oceans. He explains how these events eradicated the civilization of the time and set humanity back thousands of years, only to reemerge around 3500 BCE with scattered memories and nascent abilities. He explores, within this framework, how many megalithic monuments, underground cities, and ancient legends fall logically into place, as well as the reinterpreted Easter Island rongorongo texts and the intentional burial, 10,000 years ago, of the Gbekli Tepe complex in Turkey. Schoch reveals scientific evidence that shows how history could repeat itself with a coronal mass ejection powerful enough to devastate modern society. Weaving together a new view of the origins of civilization, the truths behind ancient wisdom, and the dynamics of the planet we live on, Schoch maintains we must heed the megalithic warning of the past and collectively prepare for future events.

Conceived by Paschal Beverly Randolph, Magia Sexualis has been heralded as the most influential book about sex magic ever written, surviving to the present day solely through Maria de Naglowskas French translation. Published more than 50 years after Randolphs death, the authorship of this translation has been repeatedly called into question: While the greater part of the content can be traced to Randolphs known works, a very significant portion cannotleading to the conclusion that this work was supplemented by Naglowskas own sex magic work and extensive occult teachings. Magia Sexualis explains Randolphs meticulous science of sex magic, practiced by the Brotherhood of Eulis and the Hermetic Brotherhood of Light. Beginning with exercises to develop essential skills, the book explains in step-by-step detail how to perform sex magic rituals for specific results, such as greater strength or enhancement of the senses, how to charge and use a voltan effigy of a specific person you want to influence or protect, how to enliven a painting in order to influence those around it, and how to create magical talismans with specific planetary forces, using what Randolph calls fluid condensers. This work from two great occult minds shows that true power of the spirit is acquired in conjunction with the power of sexaffirming that sex is the fundamental force in every being, the most powerful force in Nature, and the most characteristic evidence of God. Paschal Beverly Randolph (18251875) was an African American doctor, Rosicrucian, and occultist who introduced sex magic to North America. The founder of the Brotherhood of Eulis and a known occult rival of H. P. Blavatsky, he authored several books, including Eulis: The History of Love. Maria de Naglowska (18831936) was a Russian occultist, mystic, and founder of the Brotherhood of the Golden Arrow, whose conferences in Paris in the 1930s were attended by many now famous avant-garde and notorious writers and artists, such as Julius Evola, Man Ray, and Andr Breton. Donald Traxler is both a translator and student of the occult. He lives in Martinez, California.

Breaking the Mirror of Heaven

The Conspiracy to Suppress the Voice of Ancient Egypt
robert baUval and AHMED oSMAN
Exposes the many cycles of monument destruction and cultural suppression in egypt from antiquity to the present day
Details the vandalism of Egyptian antiquities and suppression of ancient knowledge under foreign rulers who sought to cleanse Egypt of its pagan past Reveals the real reason behind Napoleons invasion of Egypt: Freemasonry Shows how the censorship of nonofficial Egyptology as well as new archaeological discoveries continued under Antiquities Minister Zahi Hawass

Called the Mirror of Heaven by Hermes-Thoth and regarded as the birthplace of civilization, science, religion, and magic, Egypt has ignited the imagination of all who come in contact with it since ancient timesfrom Pythagoras and Plato to Alexander the Great and Napoleon to modern Egyptologists the world over. Yet, despite this preeminence in the collective mind, Egypt has suffered considerable destruction over the centuries. Even before the burning of the Great Library at Alexandria, the land of the pharaohs was pillaged by its own people. With the arrival of foreign rulers, both Arabic and European, the destruction and thievery continued along with suppression of ancient knowledge as some rulers sought to cleanse Egypt of its pagan past. Exploring the many cycles of destruction and suppression in Egypt as well as moments of salvation, such as the first registered excavations by Auguste Mariette, Robert Bauval and Ahmed Osman investigate the many conquerors of Egypt through the millennia as well as what has happened to famous artifacts such as the Rosetta Stone. They show how Napoleon, through his invasion, wanted to revive ancient Egyptian wisdom and art because of its many connections to Freemasonry. They reveal how the degradation of monuments, theft of relics, and censorship of ancient teachings continue to this day. Exposing recent cover-ups during the tenure of Antiquities Minister Zahi Hawass, they explain how new discoveries at Giza were closed to further research. Clearing cultural and historical distortions, the authors reveal the long-hidden and persecuted voice of ancient Egypt and call for the return of Egypt to its rightful place as the Mother of Nations and the Mirror of Heaven. Egyptian-born Robert Bauval began studying Egyptology in 1983. The author of The Orion Mystery and coauthor of Black Genesis, he lives in Torremolinos, Spain. Ahmed Osman was born in Cairo in 1934 and is the author of several books, including Christianity: An Ancient Egyptian Religion and Moses and Akhenaten. He lives in England.

new edition of Slave Species of God

Slave Species of the Gods

The Secret History of the Anunnaki and Their Mission on Earth
MICHAEL TELLINGER
our origins as a slave species and the Anunnaki legacy in our DNA
Reveals compelling new archaeological and genetic evidence for the engineered origins of the human species, first proposed by Zecharia Sitchin in The 12th Planet Shows how the Anunnaki created us using pieces of their own DNA, controlling our physical and mental capabilities by inactivating their more advanced DNA Identifies a recently discovered complex of sophisticated ruins in South Africa as the city of the Anunnaki leader Enki

Scholars have long believed that the first civilization on Earth emerged in Sumer some 6,000 years ago. However, as Michael Tellinger reveals, the Sumerians and Egyptians inherited their knowledge from an earlier civilization that lived at the southern tip of Africa and began with the arrival of the Anunnaki more than 200,000 years ago. Sent to Earth in search of life-saving gold, these ancient Anunnaki astronauts from the planet Nibiru created the first humans as a slave race to mine goldthus beginning our global traditions of gold obsession, slavery, and god as dominating master. Revealing new archaeological and genetic evidence in support of Zecharia Sitchins revolutionary work with pre-biblical clay tablets, Tellinger shows how the Anunnaki created us using pieces of their own DNA, controlling our physical and mental capabilities by inactivating their more advanced DNAwhich explains why less than 3 percent of our DNA is active. He identifies a recently discovered complex of sophisticated ruins in South Africa, complete with thousands of mines, as the city of Anunnaki leader Enki and explains their lost technologies that used the power of sound as a source of energy. Matching key mythologies of the worlds religions to the Sumerian clay tablet stories on which they are based, he details the actual events behind these tales of direct physical interactions with god, concluding with the epic flooda perennial theme of ancient myththat wiped out the Anunnaki mining operations. Tellinger shows that, as humanity awakens to the truth about our origins, we can overcome our programmed animalistic and slave-like nature, tap in to our dormant Anunnaki DNA, and realize the longevity and intelligence of our creators as well as learn the difference between the gods of myth and the true loving God of our universe. Michael Tellinger is a scientist, researcher, and regular guest on more than 200 radio shows in the United States, United Kingdom, and Europe, such as Coast to Coast AM with George Noory and the Shirley Maclaine Show. In March 2011 he hosted the Megalithomania Conference in Johannesburg, South Africa, featuring Graham Hancock, Andrew Collins, and Robert Temple. He lives in South Africa.

Praise for chani Lele Finally, we have an author willing to serve up the spiritual beauty of ancient Africa at the table of the modern world. Clearly, there is a legacy beginning to unfold.
Iyanla Vanzant, founder of Inner Visions Spiritual Institute and author of Peace from Broken Pieces

Tackling the biggest controversy surrounding his faith, Santera priest chani Lele explains for the first time in print the practice and importance of animal sacrifice as a religious sacrament. Describing the animal sacrifice ceremony in step-by-step detail, including the songs and chants used, he examines the thinking and metaphysics behind the ritual and reveals the deep connections to the odu of the diloggnthe source of all practices in this Afro-Cuban faith. Tracing the legal battle spearheaded by Oba Ernesto Pichardo, head of the Church of the Lukumi of Babaluaiye, over the right to practice animal sacrifice as a religious sacrament, Lele chronicles the fight all the way to its 1993 U.S. Supreme Court victory, which established legal protection for the Santera faith and its practitioners. Weaving together oral fragments stemming from the ancient Yoruba of West Africa, the author reconstructs their sacred stories, or pataks, that demonstrate the well-thought-out metaphysics and spirituality behind the practice of animal sacrifice in the Yoruba and Santera religion, including explanations about why each animal can be regarded as food for both humans and the orisha as well as how sacrifice is not limited to animals. Shedding light on the extraordinary global growth of this religion over the past 50 years, Leles guide to the sacrificial ceremonies of Santera enables initiates to learn proper ceremony protocol as well as gives outsiders a glimpse into this most secretive world of the santeros. chani Lele has been immersed in the underground culture of orisha worship since 1989. He made Ocha in 2000 and was crowned a priest of Oya. His other books include Diloggn Tales of the Natural World, Teachings of the Santera Gods, The Secrets of Afro-Cuban Divination, Ob: Oracle of Cuban Santera, and The Diloggn: The Orishas, Proverbs, Sacrifices, and Prohibitions of Cuban Santera. Science and the Afterlife Experience

Evidence for the Immortality of Consciousness
Chris Carter
reveals the evidence of life beyond death
Examines 125 years of scientific research into reincarnation, apparitions, and communication with the dead showing these phenomena are real Reveals the existence of higher planes of consciousness where the souls of the dead can choose to advance or manifest once again on earth Explains how these findings have been ignored and denied because they are incompatible with materialist doctrines

In this book, Chris Carter shows that evidence of life beyond death exists and has been around for millennia, predating any organized religion. Focusing on three key phenomenareincarnation, apparitions, and communications from the dead Carter reveals 125 years of documented scientific studies by independent researchers and the British and American Societies for Psychical Research that rule out hoaxes, fraud, and hallucinations and prove these afterlife phenomena are real. The author examines historic and modern accounts of detailed past-life memories, visits from the deceased, and communications with the dead via medium and automatic writing as well as the scientific methods used to confirm these experiences. He explains how these findings on the afterlife have been ignored and denied because they are incompatible with the prevailing doctrine of materialism. Sharing messages from the dead themselves describing the afterlife, Carter reveals how consciousness exists outside the parameters of biological evolution and emerges through the medium of the brain to use the physical world as a springboard for growth. After death, souls can advance to higher planes of consciousness or manifest once again on Earth. Carters rigorous argument provesbeyond any reasonable doubtnot only that consciousness survives death and continues in the afterlife, but that it precedes birth as well. Chris Carter received his undergraduate and masters degrees from the University of Oxford. The author of Science and the Near-Death Experience and Science and Psychic Phenomena, he is originally from Canada and currently teaches internationally.

BRETT BRAUD

When Hurricane Floyd ravaged the North Carolina coast in 1999, Kathryn Ravenwood living thousands of miles away in Seattlewas called by Spirit to help heal the toxic waters left behind. Combining her longtime devotion to sacred altars with her newfound connection to crystals, she developed a process to make crystal homeopathic elixirs to cleanse bodies of water both near and far. Sharing her journey of spiritual calling and discovery, Ravenwood explains how to create crystal homeopathic elixirs using a sacred water altar and attuned crystals. Detailing how to create a personal altar in your home, the crystals most suitable for this work (such as amethyst and selenite), as well as how to program them with your healing intentions, she describes the month-long cyclefrom full moon to full moonof ritual and prayer at the core of the process that infuses the elixirs with their cleansing and healing powers. Ravenwood provides shamanic journey meditations based on Native American and Egyptian traditions to help you connect with ancient water spirits and guides and instill your water-healing work with sacred purpose. She explains how to ceremonially apply an elixir to a body of water and how the remedy will propagate outward to the ocean, bringing healing to the waters it spans as well as to the animals it encounters. Bringing spirituality into physicality and providing a practical application for the work of Dr. Masaru Emoto, this hands-on shamanic method enables each of us to take part in transforming our planet as well as our selvesfor the health of Gaia and our own bodies is directly tied to the health of the waters that surround and are within us. A renowned ceremonialist, shamanic guide, teacher, and a minister of the Universal Life Church, Kathryn W. Ravenwood has studied in the Egyptian Mystery School tradition with Nicki Scully, Normandi Ellis, and Gloria Taylor Brown. An initiated member of the Lineage of Thoth and a certified teacher of alchemical healing, she lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

The Voice of Rolling Thunder

A Medicine Mans Wisdom for Walking the Red Road
SIDIAN MoRNING STAR JoNES and STANLEY kRIPPNER, Ph.D.
Rolling Thunders life and wisdom in his own words and from interviews with those who knew him well
Contains never-before-released talks by Rolling Thunder preserved by the Grateful Deads Mickey Hart as well as accounts of remarkable healings and weather magic from famous personalities who knew him Explains that in order to heal Natures afflictions we must first restore balance and unity in ourselves

Cherokee-Shoshone medicine man Rolling Thunder (19161997) was a healer, teacher, visionary, and activist who rose to popularity in the 1960s and 70s through his friendship with artists such as Bob Dylan and as the inspiration for the Billy Jack films. Eyewitness accounts of his remarkable healings are legion, as are those of his ability to call forth the forces of nature, typically in the form of thunder clouds. Yet it was his equally uncommon gift as a prophet and living representative of Native American wisdom that truly set him apart from other spiritual teachers of that era. Thirty years before most people had ever heard of global warming, Rolling Thunder described in graphic detail the signs of encroaching planetary doom and campaigned for environmental harmony. The key to healing natures afflictions, he maintained, is to first restore balance and unity in ourselves. Containing never-before-released talks preserved by the Grateful Deads Mickey Hart, this book shares the teachings of Rolling Thunder in his own words and through inspiring interviews with psychologist Alberto Villoldo and other famous personalities who knew him. Collected and edited by his grandson Sidian Morning Star Jones and longtime friend Stanley Krippner, this book allows you to incorporate Rolling Thunders wisdom into your own life. Sidian Morning Star Jones, Rolling Thunders grandson and one of the caretakers of his spiritual legacy, is a graphic designer and founder of Open Source Religion. He lives in Boise, Idaho. Stanley Krippner, Ph.D., is a professor of psychology at Saybrook University and past president of the Association for Humanistic Psychology. The recipient of several distinguished awards and author and coauthor of many books, including Demystifying Shamans and Their World, he lives in San Rafael, California.

SARAH ANNE SMITH

Few Freemasons today understand why the most significant date in the Masonic calendar is June 24ththe Feast of the Birth of St. John the Baptist and the traditional date for appointing Grand Masters. Nor do many of them know that Masons used to be known as St. Johns Men or that John the Baptist was fundamental to the original Masonic philosophy of personal transformation. Starting with the mystery of John in Freemasonry, Tobias Churton searches out the historical Baptist through the gospels and ancient histories, unearthing the real story behind the figure lauded by Jesuss words no greater man was ever born of woman. He investigates Johns links with the Essenes and the Gnostics, links that flourish to this day. Exposing how the apostle Paul challenged Johns following, twisting his message and creating the image of John as merely a herald of Jesus, the author shows how Paul may have been behind the executions of both John and Jesus and reveals a precise date for the crucifixion and the astonishing meaning of the phrase the third day. He examines the significance of Johns severed head to holy knights, such as the Knights Templar, and of Leonardos famous painting of John. Churton also explains connections between John, the summer solstice, fertility rites, and ancient Jewish harvest festivals. Revealing John as a courageous, revolutionary figure as vital to the origins of Christianity as his cousin Jesus himself, Churton shows how John and Jesus, as equal partners, launched a covert spiritual operation to overcome corruption in the Temple of Jerusalem, re-initiate Israel, and resurrect Creation. Tobias Churton is Honorary Fellow of Exeter University, where he is faculty lecturer in Rosicrucianism and Freemasonry. The founding editor of the magazine Freemasonry Today, he holds a masters degree in Theology from Brasenose College, Oxford, and is the author of several books, including Gnostic Philosophy, The Magus of Freemasonry, and The Invisible History of the Rosicrucians. He lives in England.

The Shamanic Odyssey

Homer, Tolkien, and the Visionary Experience
RoBERT TINDALL with SUSANA BUSToS, Ph.D.
Reveals the striking parallels between indigenous cultures of the Americas and the ancient Homeric world as well as Tolkiens Middle Earth
Explores the shamanic use of healing songs, psychoactive plants, and vision quests at the heart of the Odyssey and the fantasy works of J. R. R. Tolkien Examines odysseuss encounters with plant divinities, altered consciousness, animal shapeshifting, and sacred topographyall concepts vital to shamanism Reveals how the Odyssey emerged precisely at the rupture between modern and primal consciousness

Indigenous, shamanic ways of healing and prophecy are not foreign to the West. The native way of viewing the worldthat is, understanding our cosmos as living, sentient, and interconnectedcan be found hidden throughout Western literature, beginning with the very origin of the European literary tradition: Homers Odyssey. Weaving together the narrative traditions of the ancient Greeks and Celts, the mythopoetic work of J. R. R. Tolkien, and the voices of plant medicine healers in North and South America, the authors explore the use of healing songs, psychoactive plants, and vision quests at the heart of the Odyssey, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, and Tolkiens final novella, Smith of Wootton Major. The authors examine Odysseuss encounters with plant divinities, altered consciousness, animal shapeshifting, and sacred topographyall concepts vital to shamanism. They show the deep affinities between the healing powers of ancient bardic song and the icaros of the shamans of the Amazon rain forest, how Odysseuss battle with Circewielder of narcotic plants and Mistress of Animalsfollows the traditional method of negotiating with a plant ally, and how Odysseuss journey to the land of the dead signifies the universal practice of the vision quest, a key part of shamanic initiation. Emerging precisely at the rupture between modern and primal consciousness, Homers work represents a window into the lost native mind of the Western world. In this way, the Odyssey as well as Tolkiens work can be seen as an awakening and healing song to return us to our native minds and bring our disconnected souls back into harmony with the living cosmos. Robert Tindall is a professor of English, writer, and classical guitarist. With his wife, Susana Bustos, he leads groups into the Amazon rain forest to encounter the healing traditions there. He is the author of The Jaguar that Roams the Mind and The Battle of the Soul in Sir Gawain and the Green Knight. Susana Bustos, Ph.D., is a professor of psychology, transpersonal psychotherapist, and independent researcher on entheogenic shamanic traditions. The authors live in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Children of the Fifth World

A Guide to the Coming Changes in Human Consciousness
P M. H. ATwATER, L.H.D. .
our species is evolving in preparation for the new world on the horizon
Explains how the increase in intuitive, creative, and abstract-thinking abilities of children as well as incidences of ADHD, dyslexia, and autism signal evolutionary changes at work in humanitythe emergence of the Fifth Root Race Connects the appearance of these traits with ancient myths and evolutionary calendars as well as predictions by Teilhard de Chardin, Edgar Cayce, and other visionary seers Reveals how these new kids act as agents for world change by reflecting back every misguided aspect of business, politics, religion, and culture

The past 30 years have seen a quantum leap in the intuitive, creative, and abstractthinking abilities of children as well as an unprecedented rise in incidences of ADHD, dyslexia, and autism spectrum disorders. As P. M. H. Atwater explains, we are witnessing evolution at work. The changes in consciousness and brain function evident in these new kids signal the widespread emergence of the Fifth Root Race and, fortuitously, coincide with our transition into the Fifth World. Providing a resource for parents and new kids themselves, Atwater explains what is happening to our species and our worldfrom neurological changes and climate upheavals to the drive to be constantly connected through screen-based technology and the unnecessary widespread use of drug therapies. Sharing individual case histories underscoring the traits of the new-child personality, she reveals how these children, born with universal consciousness encoded in their DNA, act as agents for world change by reflecting back every misguided aspect of business, politics, religion, entertainment, technology, and culture so we cant ignore what needs to be repaired. Atwater shows how children labeled as autistic or otherwise damaged have enormous potential for greatness. Connecting recent events and cultural shifts with creation myths, evolutionary calendars, and historical records from every culture as well as predictions by Teilhard de Chardin, Sri Aurobindo, Edgar Cayce, and other visionary seers, Atwater shows how the genetic shift now occurring follows the Rule of Thirds in its progression. Exploring timelines for the next several hundred years, she explains that the coming new world will be tailored specifically for the new kids, who will lead the way in the Great Shift from old world to new. P. M. H. Atwater, L.H.D., is a distinguished researcher of near-death experiences, prayer chaplain, spiritual counselor, and visionary. She is the author of 15 books including Beyond the Indigo Children. She lives in Charlottesville, Virginia.

We are all surrounded by spirits. Many people feel called to work with them, but few know where to begin. Enjoined by the gods and spirits to fulfill this need, Raven Kaldera and Galina Krasskova have reconstructed the indigenous spiritual traditions of northern Europe and Scandinavia extinguished more than one thousand years ago by the spread of Christianity. Arising from basic survival needs, these practical traditions are fundamentally tied to the elements found in the harsh world of the ancient North. Beginning with the skills tied to the Earth element, necessary for grounding prior to the more demanding aspects of the practiceworking with Sun, Moon, Plants, Animals, Water, Fire, Craft, and Airthe authors explain, step by step, how to build relationships with each elemental spirit and the Ancestors. Offering 83 practical exercises, from cleansing with the Moon or borrowing the legs of Reindeer to making sacred space with Mugwort or creating an ancestor altar, they also explore building spirit relationships through altered states. Emphasizing the proper management of your spirit relationships to avoid spiritual debt or offense, the authors outline the ancient cultural rules and taboos that circumscribe these practices, essential knowledge for successful and fruitful spirit alliances. Detailing the beginning set of skills needed to work with the spirits of this ancient world, this comprehensive workbook offers a unique ancestral spiritual outlet for those of northern European descent as well as an accessible guide for anyone trying to fulfill their shamanic callings. A Lapidary of Sacred Stones

Their Magical and Medicinal Powers Based on the Earliest Sources
CLAUDE LECoUTEUx
a comprehensive dictionary of sacred and magical gem lore that draws on the rarest source texts of Antiquity and the Middle Ages
Reveals the healing and magical virtues of familiar gemstones, such as amethyst, emerald, and diamond, as well as the lore surrounding exotic stones such as astrios, a stone celebrated by ancient magicians Examines bezoars (stones formed in animals bodies) and magnets that attract materials other than metal Based on ancient Arabic, Greek, Jewish, and European sources, ranging from the observations of Pliny the Elder to extremely rare texts such as the Picatrix and Damigerons Virtue of Stones

Our ancestors believed stones were home to sacred beings of power, entities that if properly understood and cultivated could provide people protection from ill fortune, envy, and witchcraft; grant invisibility and other magical powers; improve memory; and heal the sick from a wide variety of diseases. These benefits could be obtained by wearing the stone on a ring, bracelet, or pendant; through massage treatments with the stone; or by reducing the gem into a powder and drinking it mixed with water or wine. Drawing from a wealth of ancient Arabic, Greek, Jewish, and European sources from the observations of Pliny the Elder to extremely rare texts such as the Picatrix and Damigerons Virtue of StonesClaude Lecouteux provides a synthesis of all known lore for more than 1,000 stones. He includes such common examples as the emerald, which when engraved with the figure of a harpy holding a lamprey in its claws will banish panic and nightmares, and beryl, which when appropriately carved can summon water spirits or win its owner high renown, as well as more exotic stones such as astrios, a stone celebrated by ancient magicians and whose center glows like a star. Lecouteux also examines bezoarsstones formed in animals bodiesas well as magnets that attract materials other than iron, such as gold, flesh, cotton, or scorpions. This comprehensive dictionary of sacred and magical gem lore, drawn from the rarest sources of Antiquity and the Middle Ages, represents a one-of-a-kind resource for gem enthusiasts and magical practitioners alike. Claude Lecouteux is a former professor of medieval literature and civilization at the Sorbonne. He is the author of numerous books on medieval and pagan beliefs, including The Secret History of Poltergeists and Haunted Houses and The Secret History of Vampires. He lives in Paris.

Sharing his 30 years of intensive research into the history of change as well as the evolution of consciousness and regenerative science, Schacker explains how our current shift from the old mechanistic worldview to a new organic worldview based on biological models follows the same pattern as other paradigm shifts across history, including the 18th-century Enlightenment and the American Revolution. He reveals the creative geniuses who have contributed to the birth of the organic worldview, beginning with Goethe, Kant, and Rodale. Exposing the scientific and social forces that drive paradigm shifts, he details the stages every paradigm shift progresses through: the Early Enlightenment, the Conservative Backlash, the Intensive Phase, and the Flip Point. Explaining that we are currently in the throes of the Flip Point, the critical last phase of our paradigm shift, Schacker shows how the mechanistic worldview is crumbling around us and nothing but a complete transformation in the way we think will keep us from the path of total self-destruction. Providing a map to overcome the allure of the simplistic mechanical model that has spawned countless unsustainable practices and problemsfrom global warming to intense economic disparitiesthe author offers concrete solutions showing how each of us can use our talents, skills, and time to make the deep changes needed for global regeneration. Michael Schacker is an investigative science writer and cofounder of the Global Regeneration Network. A strategic consultant and writer in the field of regenerative agriculture, he is the author of A Spring Without Bees. He lives in Woodstock, New York.

San Pedro, the legendary cactus of vision, has been used by the shamans of Peru for at least 3,500 years. Referring to St. Peter, who holds the keys to Heaven, its name is suggestive of the plants visionary power to open the gates between the visible and invisible worlds, allowing passage to an ecstatic realm where miraculous physical and spiritual healings occur, love and enthusiasm for life are rekindled, the future divined, and the souls purpose revealed. Exploring the history and shamanic uses of the San Pedro cactus, Ross Heaven interviews practicing San Pedro shamans about ancient and modern rituals, preparation of the visionary brew, experiences with the healing spirit of San Pedro, and their teachings on how the cactus works on the mind, body, and illness. He investigates the conditions treated by San Pedro as well as how it can enhance creativity, providing case studies from those who have been healed by the cactus and accounts from those who have been artistically and musically inspired through its use. Psychedelic researchers Eve Bruce, M.D., David Luke, Ph.D., and journalist Morgan Maher contribute chapters delving into San Pedros effects on conscious evolution and psychic abilities as well as its similarities to and differences from ayahuasca. Exploring plant communication and the vital role of music in San Pedro ceremonies, Heaven explains how healing songs are communicated by the sacred plants to the shamans working with them, much in the same way that other gifts of San Pedrofrom healing to inspiration to expanded consciousnessare passed to those who commune with this ancient plant teacher. Ross Heaven is a psychologist, healer, and workshop facilitator and presenter with extensive training in the shamanic, transpersonal, and psychospiritual traditions. The author of more than 10 books, including Plant Spirit Shamanism, he teaches workshops on shamanism and plant medicines in Spain and England and coordinates trips to Peru to work with indigenous plant shamans. He lives in Spain and the United Kingdom.

The Healing Power of the Sacred Woman

Health, Creativity, and Fertility for the Soul
CHRISTINE R. PAGE, M.D.
How to enhance well-being by reconnecting to sacred womanhood
Shares ways to embody the power, wisdom, and compassion of the Great Mother Reveals a womans purpose is to give birth not only to new life but also to new levels of consciousness Shows how female illnesses represent a disconnection from our true identity as women

Four thousand years ago, women were seen as living representatives of the Great Mother, whose cyclical and potent energy gave birth to all existence. Today, this sacred awareness has been lost or distorted, causing a collective amnesia among women around the world. However, there is one symbol of the Great Mothers loving presence that has remained unchanged for tens of thousands of years: the physical body. Its curves, sensuality, softness, and monthly flow are constant reminders of this deep loving connection. When illness appears, especially within the breasts and fertility organs, a woman is being reminded to return to her pure and sacred identity, where death and birth are essential for growth and love flows without expectations. Combining more than 30 years experience in health care with in-depth research into the history and mythology of the divine feminine, Christine R. Page, M.D., reveals that women are the foundation of the birth of new levels of consciousness, without which the evolution of humanity will become barren and dry. Yet, such birth can occur only when women have the courage to reject the beliefs and images of the feminine imposed upon them four thousand years ago and reclaim their true identity. Through a fascinating journey into the body, Dr. Page shows the importance of self-love and self-respect and explains how sex is a natural process of unification where women take the lead, similar to the ancient sacred priestesses. Dr. Page reminds women to reconnect to the potent and creative energy of Mother Earth, which gives power to the intuitive voice of the heart and nurtures new seeds of inspiration and enlightenment through the womb. Christine R. Page, M.D., received her medical degree from the University of London in 1978. Known as a mystical physician, she is an international seminar leader on healing and empowerment and is the author of several books, including Frontiers of Health and 2012 and the Galactic Center. She lives in northern California.

Foundations of Yoga presents the full and rigorous yogic training of traditional Hatha Yoga as taught by renowned Indian Yoga master the late Sri Shyam Sundar Goswami. Written by his disciple and spiritual heir, the book emphasizes metaphysical, spiritual, and psychological cultivation in addition to physical practice. It offers Yoga practitioners and teachers a way to enrich and advance their physical Yoga practice through a deeper understanding of physiology, psychology, philosophy, and spirituality centered on vedic and tantric principles. Woven together with stories from Sri Shyam Sundar Goswamis life, the book explains pratyhra (control of the senses), chran (yogic bodybuilding), mental concentration exercises, and the energy-focusing and purifying muscular-control movements known as mudras, including the metabolism-boosting mahamudra and advanced pelvic mudras and sexual practices to transcend the ego. The book explores methods of internal purification such as dhauti (cleansing of the stomach with air or water), vasti (intestinal cleansing), neti (nasal cleansing), trtaka (visual concentration exercises), and kaplabhti (diaphragmatic hyperventilation) and shows how these purifications are necessary before beginning the advanced breathing practices of prnayma to eradicate deep internal impurities and strengthen the immune system. Exploring the philosophy of Yoga, the book shares meditative exercises for introspection, expanding consciousness, and seeking your true divine nature. As the teachings and life of Sri S. S. Goswami show, by strengthening the body, vital force, and mind, one can master all three for a long, healthy, harmonious life. Basile P. Catomris is the disciple and spiritual heir of Sri Shyam Sundar Goswami. Devoting his life to the study and practice of yogic traditions, he studied under Sri S. S. Goswami from 1956 until his death in 1978, whereupon he took over Sri S. S. Goswamis teaching duties at the Goswami Yoga Institute in Sweden. In December 1983, he was granted yogic final initiation (brahma mantra diksha) by Ma Santi Devi, Sri Goswamis spiritual mother. He lives in southern France.

Tai Chi Wu Style

Advanced Techniques for Internalizing Chi Energy
MANTAk CHIA and ANDREw JAN
A guide to the internal martial arts exercises of short-form wu-Style Tai Chi
Details the 8 core forms of wu-Style Tai Chi with fully illustrated instructions Ideal for older practitioners as well as those with health disabilities due to the small frame primary stance, slower and smaller movements, and conservation of energy Explains how wu Style provides a natural introduction to martial arts boxing Reveals how wu Style eases stiffness, relieves back pain, and reduces abdominal fat

Following the flow of chi energy, rather than directing it as in traditional Tai Chi, Wu-Style Tai Chi focuses on internal development, seeking to conserve chi energy and gather jin power from the Earth through the tan tien. Centered on a small frame stancethat is, feet closer together and arms closer to the bodyand a slower progression of movements in solo practice, Wu Style offers a gentle Tai Chi form for beginners and, when practiced with a partner, a grounding introduction to martial arts boxing and Fa Jin (the discharge of energy for self-defense). The more functional stance, smaller movements, and conservation of internal energy make Wu-Style Tai Chi ideal for older practitioners as well as those with health disabilities. Condensing the 37 movements of Wu Style into 8 core forms, Master Mantak Chia and Andrew Jan illustrate how to build a personal short-form Wu-Style Tai Chi practice. They explain how Wu-Style Tai Chi removes energetic blockages and helps to elongate the tendons, reducing stiffness and allowing the limbs to return to their natural length and full range of motion. Regular practice of Wu Style relieves back pain as well as reducing abdominal fat, the biggest hindrance to longevity. Exploring the martial arts applications of Wu Style, the authors trace its history beginning with founder Wu Chuan-Yu (18341902) as well as explain how to apply Wu Style to Push Hands (Tui Shou) and Fa Jin. Through mastering the short-form Wu Style detailed in this book, Tai Chi practitioners harness a broad range of health benefits as well as build a solid foundation for learning the complete long-form Wu Style. Mantak Chia, world-famous Inner Alchemy and Chi Kung master, founded the Universal Healing Tao System in 1979. He has taught and certified tens of thousands of students and instructors from all over the world and is the author of 40 books, including Iron Shirt Chi Kung and The Inner Structure of Tai Chi. Andrew Jan is a senior instructor for the Universal Healing Tao and former Australian National Tai Chi Champion. The coauthor with Master Chia of Tai Chi Fa Jin, he lives near Perth, Australia.

The molecules of living organisms are in constant communication, storing and transmitting information both at the intracellular level as well as across vast distances. The mystery of how this communication occurswhether through molecular structure, chemical reactions, entangled states, or some other methodhas baffled biologists, chemists, and quantum physicists for more than a century. Revealing the intimate connections between mind and matter, Franoise Tibika explains that conscious communication exists all the way down to the very molecules of which weand the universeare made. Using the fundamental laws of thermodynamics to support her argumentespecially the first law: energy is neither created nor destroyedas well as modern scientific research in quantum physics and molecular biology, Tibika explores how each imperishable atom of the universe is intrinsically linked with all other atoms through their memories and the information they carry. She shows not only how each atom of your being is part of the greater whole of the universe but also how your thoughts, feelings, and state of mind are profoundly related to the activity of each of your molecules. Just as we are undergoing constant transformation by the molecules surrounding us, our own molecules are continuously transforming the network of which we are a part. Exploring the concrete manifestations of this molecular consciousness, such as intuition, Tibika reveals how, through effecting conscious change at the molecular level, our actions have far-reaching significance in a universe that is not blind to our presence. Franoise Tibika, a student of famed kabbalist and mystic Colette Aboulker-Muscat, has a Ph.D. in chemistry from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Currently a lead researcher at the Institute of Chemistry at her alma mater, she lives in Jerusalem, Israel.

Infinite Energy Technologies

Tesla, Cold Fusion, Antigravity, and the Future of Sustainability
edited by FINLEY EVERSoLE, Ph.D. Foreword by John L. Petersen
Clean, sustainable energy solutions from the geniuses of our past and the visionaries of our future
Explores five great but nearly forgotten minds of the pastJohn worrell keely, Nikola Tesla, Viktor Schauberger, Royal Raymond Rife, and T. Townsend Brownand their revolutionary discoveries Reveals information from leading experts on cold fusion, zero-point energy, power from water, antigravity, and the free-energy potential of the Searl Effect Generator

As the global need for clean, renewable energy grows and the shortage of viable largescale solutions continues, it is time to look to the geniuses of our past and the visionaries of our future for answers. Taking inspiration from Albert Einsteins statement that Problems cannot be solved by the same level of thinking that created them, Finley Eversole explains that the key to a pollution- and poverty-free future of infinite energy lies not in pursuing one single method, but in investigating all the possibilities in uniting as a world in creative pursuit of global transformation. Exploring five nearly unknown geniuses of our pastJohn Worrell Keely, Nikola Tesla, Viktor Schauberger, Royal Raymond Rife, and T. Townsend Brownand their revolutionary discoveries about free energy, electricity, water vortex motion, electric ray and super-microscope technology, and antigravity, this book helps to restore their long-suppressed scientific legacies and bring us one step closer to the destiny they foresaw. Eversole has gathered research from leading experts on cold fusion, zero-point energy, power from water, and the free-energy potential of the Searl Effect Generator to reveal technologies that work with Natures laws and that, if fully implemented, could establish sustainable energy systems in a single generation. Finley Eversole, Ph.D., has lectured widely on the arts, philosophy, metaphysics, and creativity. He served as executive director of the Society for the Arts, Religion and Contemporary Culture from 1966 to 1969, collaborating with Joseph Campbell, Alan Watts, W. H. Auden, and Alfred H. Barr Jr., founder of the Museum of Modern Art. The author of Art and Spiritual Transformation, he lives in Birmingham, Alabama.

Composer and author Cyril Scott explores the role of music in the evolution of humanity and shows how it has pushed human evolution forward. He explains that music has a profound effect on history, morals, and culture and is a more potent force in the molding of character than religious creeds or moral philosophies. Whereas mediocre musicians reflect only their own times, inspired ones help determine the character of the future. Exploring the works of classical composers such as Bach, Handel, Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Schumann, Chopin, Wagner, and Strauss, Scott reveals how their compositions were actively influenced by a hierarchy of initiates, evolved spiritual intelligences, and devas to make the way fertile for human spiritual evolution. Scott explains how humans are composed not only of a physical body, emotional body, and a mental body but also a sensation body that acts as the bridge between the physical realm and the hierarchy of initiates. Scott shows how the music of great composers affects not only those listening but also society as a wholefrom Beethovens influence on the creation of psychoanalysis to Chopins musical influence on the emancipation of women. Cyril Scott (18791970) was an English composer, writer, and poet. The youngest student of his time accepted to The Hoch Conservatorium in Frankfurt, Germany, Scott was hailed at the beginning of the 20th century as the father of modern British music. He wrote several other books, including An Outline of Modern Occultism, The Great Awareness, and The Initiate trilogy.

Secret Practices of the Sufi Freemasons

The Islamic Teachings at the Heart of Alchemy
BARoN RUDoLF von SEBoTTENDoRFF, founder of the thule society Translation and introduction by Stephen E. Flowers, Ph.D.
Reveals the secret spiritual exercises of the Bektashi order of Sufis
Shows how this order, also known as oriental Freemasonry, preserves the ancient spiritual doctrines forgotten by modern Freemasonry Explains how to transform the soul into the alchemical Magnum opus by combining Masonic grips and the abbreviated letters of the Quran Includes a detailed biography of Baron von Sebottendorff

Originally published in Germany in 1924, this rare book by Baron Rudolf von Sebottendorff reveals the secret spiritual exercises of the Bektashi Order of Sufis as well as how this order, also known as Oriental Freemasonry, preserves the ancient spiritual doctrines forgotten by modern Freemasonry. Sebottendorff explains how the mysterious abbreviated letters found in the Quran represent formulas for perfecting the spirit of the individual. When combined with Masonic hand signs and grips and conducted accordingly to a precise schedule, these formulas incorporate spiritual power into the body and transform the soul from its base state into a noble, godlike state: the Magnum Opus of the medieval alchemists. Laying out the complete program of spiritual exercises, Sebottendorff explains each abbreviated word-formula in the Quran, the hand gestures that go with them, and the exact order and duration for each exercise. Including a detailed biography of Sebottendorff and an examination of alchemys Islamic heritage, this book shows how the traditions of Oriental Freemasonry can ennoble the self and lead to higher knowledge. Baron Rudolf von Sebottendorff (18751945) was a Freemason and practitioner of alchemy. In 1900 he moved to Turkey where he met the Jewish Termudi family, who introduced him to Rosicrucianism and led to his initiation into a local Masonic lodge. In 1910 he founded a lodge of the Bektashi Order in Constantinople. Returning to Germany, in 1917 he founded the Thule Society, an occult organization that led to the German Workers Partyjoined in 1919 by Adolf Hitler, who transformed it into the Nazi Party. Sebottendorff left the Thule Society as it became increasingly political, fleeing to Turkey. Translator Stephen E. Flowers, Ph.D., received his doctorate in Germanic languages and medieval studies from the University of Texas at Austin and studied the history of occultism at the University of Gttingen, Germany. The author of more than two dozen books, including Lords of the Left-Hand Path, he lives near Austin, Texas.

As psychedelic psychotherapy gains recognition through research at universities and medical establishments such as the Johns Hopkins Medical Institute and Bellevue Hospital, the other beneficial uses of psychedelics are beginning to be recognized and researched as wellfrom enhancing problem-solving and increasing motivation to boosting the immune system and deepening moral and ethical values. Exploring the bright future of psychedelics, Thomas B. Roberts, Ph.D., reveals how new uses for entheogens will enrich individuals as well as society as a whole. With contributions from Charles Grob, M.D., and Roger N. Walsh, M.D., Ph.D., the book explains how psychedelics can raise individual and business attitudes away from selfcenteredness, improve daily life with strengthened feelings of meaningfulness and spirituality, and help us understand and redesign the human mind, leading to the possibility of a neurosingularitya time when future brains surpass our current ones. Roberts envisions a future where you will seek psychedelic therapy not only for psychological reasons but also for personal growth, creative problem solving, improved brain function, and heightened spiritual awareness. Our psychedelic future is on the horizona future that harnesses the full potential of mind and spiritand Thomas Roberts outlines a path to reach it. Thomas B. Roberts, Ph.D., is professor emeritus at Northern Illinois University, where he has taught the worlds first catalog-listed psychedelics course since 1981. A former visiting scientist at Johns Hopkins, the editor of Spiritual Growth with Entheogens, coeditor of Psychedelic Medicine, and author of Psychedelic Horizons, he lives in DeKalb, Illinois.

Our insect brothers and sisters are some of the most ancient beings and teachers on planet Earth. Their powerful skills of adaptation and their plight, such as the widespread colony collapse facing honeybees, have brought them to the forefront of collective consciousness, as every being on Earth faces a time of incredible transformation. The archetypal energies of these sacred Wisdomkeepers can guide us through this evolutionary time with new pathways of shamanic healing and transformation to realize the highest potential of humanity. Exploring the insect and arachnid archetypes of the Sacred Instar Medicine Wheel, authors Linda Star Wolf and Anna Cariad-Barrett reveal the consciousness-activating patterns in the pollen flight of Honeybee, the transformative chrysalis of Butterfly, the creative weavings of Spider, and the alchemical recycling of old into new of Earthworm. They show how Dragonfly, Cicada, and Cricket connect us with the Great Star Nations, the depths of Mother Earth, and the music of life, as demonstrated on the accompanying CD. Each chapter includes experiential practices, such as Shamanic Breathwork journeys, to help you embody the strengths of these humble teachers, live within the natural cycles of planet Earth, and discover a higher octave of sacred purpose.
