Q. What will be the moisture regain of 60/40 cotton polyester blend fabric?

Moisture regain of cotton = 8.3%

Moisture regain of Polyester = 0.4%

The moisture regain of c/p blend (60/40) will be = (8.3 * 60 + 0.4 * 40)/(60+40)

= 5.19%

· More the moisture regain the breathability if the fabric will be more, so it will bemore comfortable to wear in summer. But if the moisture regain is less then it will befriendlier for monsoons as its absorbency is less & it takes less time to dry.

The 65/35 blend of cotton and polyester is the most popular for work garments, particularly because of price, durability and a larger color selection being available for
