PRODUCTION CAST Used a famous director who has produced films such as atonement and pride and prejudice which both star Keira Knightely. From this, they have chosen a very popular and famous cast with actors/actresses through the likes of: Jude Law Aaron Johnson Keira Knightely Domhnall Gleeson

GENRE Drama Theatrical These genres are for a very selective audience, therefore men are less likely to be interested talking in a very stereotypical sense.

PLOT/STORYLINE Set in late-19th-century Russia highsociety, the aristocrat Anna Karenina enters into a life-changing affair with the affluent Count Vronsky. This storyline doesnt really do the film justice, however by the use of an affair within the synopsis it will appeal to women as it involves a love story

The first release of the film was in Canada at the Toronto Film Festival on the 7th September 2012. The second release was in the UK in the centre of London By releasing the movie at such a wide known and popular event, it gears up a bigger audience and gains popularity for the movie.

Anna Karenina has so far grossed over 4,500,000 in cinemas worldwide. In the UK, the film has been shown in all the main cinemas including Vue, Odeon and Picturehouse cinemas. According to filmdates.co.uk, the last showing of Anna K shall be the 25th of October. According to ondvdreleases.com, the DVD/Blue ray release is due Feb/March of 2013
