This report on Water and Wetlands was commissioned by the Secretariat of the RamsarConvention and prepared by The Economics of Ecosystems and Biodiversity (TEEB) team. It providesinformation to complement the report of the Expert Group on the Ability of Biodiversity to Continue toSupport the Water-cycle (document UNEP/CBD/COP/11/INF/2) and is specifically referenced in thiscontext in the summary report of that expert group (document UNEP/CBD/COP/11/30). Participants atthe eleventh meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity may alsowish to note that this report invites comments and suggestions for further improvement as per the insidecover of the main report (as attached).2.
 
This document is circulated in the form and languages in which it was received by the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity.
