Indah water provides sewerage services in 87 out of the 144 Local Authorities inMalaysia. Indah Water Konsortium Sdn Bhd (IWK) is responsible for providingsewerage services, operating and maintaining over 5,605 public sewage treatmentplants and 14,700km networks of sewerage pipelines as well as desludging andseptage management for 1 million ISTs. IWK covers most parts of Malaysia foroperation and maintenance whilst providing technical expertise to the remaining un-serviced area.BeforeIndependence
