Objective
Raise funds for school,Make into an annual eventInclude teacher & pupils from art department selling their products.Increase PTA profile.Increase parent’s participation/attendance in the school other than Parents evening.
Measuring Success
School funds raised in relation to work load (target for an item e.g. Mini bus).Stall holders wishing to return.Parents enjoyed the event.Participation and inclusion of staff & some students.
What should it be called?
Gift Fair, craft fair. Boutique evening??
What should be sold/displayed?
NEW ITEMS,Jewellery (silver, glass, etc), greeting cards, judacia, mirrors, paintings, glass bottles, hats,gifts sweets, dishes, cloths, footwear, leather goods etc.FUNCTION PEOPLE:Photographer, balloons, caterers, disco, chocolate etc.Could be combined with an indulgence evening,Massages, make over, nails etc,Good coffee machine, social sitting area to make into a social event. (Look to starbucks to providecoffee).
Who attends?
This is a female orientated event 90%?no males if an indulgence evening.Mums of pupils and friends along with grandparents.Young girls.
Location
School Hall, School Gym.
Proposed date
A Tuesday or Weds evening is though to be best, Before Chanukah.Suggest 11
