Opera Academy for lyric voices and pianists organized by voices A Tempo, Centro de Estudios Musicales Musicales

In order to apply for a role, all applicants must submit a digital recording on Cd or send to us a youtube link with an interpretation of at least 2 arias. The choice of the arias is free, and is not necessary to sing an aria from the Opera you are applying for. Also, all applicants must send to us the registration form dully completed, as well as the receipt of bank deposit of 60 euros. All information must be submitted before February, 1st 2013 in order to make the selection of all the candidates. The results will be announced on february, 4th on the facebook page of Barcelona Opera Studio.

This year course, we will work and perfom the following operas: - Don Pasquale. G. Donizetti - Un Ballo in Maschera. G. Verdi - Le Nozze di Figaro. W. A. Mozart (24/02 - 2/03) (3/03 - 9/03) (10/03 - 16/03)

Performances: - 2nd, 9th and 16th March Concerts: - 2nd, 9th, 16th and 23rd March Semi-performances: - 2nd, 9th, 15th and 22nd March

We will have 2 casts in every Opera. All singers will perform the Opera selected and one or two Concerts or Semi-performances.

The cost of one course is: - 450 euros for main roles (Includes Oscar and Cherubino) - 250 euros for secondary roles - 200 euros for Pianists.

Other options to participate: - Semi-Active (120 euros): includes to be cover of any role, singing lessons, scene lessons, conferences and to sing in the concerts. - Listener (60euros): includes to assist to one of the courses, conferences and concerts. offer (we offer 3 scolarships for the full course and 3 scolarships for the half course)
