Our Father of the New Family

Left side: Right side: As we forgive those who trespass against us Just as I have forgiven those who hurt me, held me back, headed me off, hurried my slow steps, forced me to let go of my dreams, crushed me to the dust of the earth, made me say uncle, abandoned me as a child, mocked me for being different. Forgive me as I have forgiven them. And lead us not into temptation To live in the light of the glamour of the evil one. To overpower and vanquish our enemies. To fill my appetite for the divine with the substitutes of wealth, power, food, sex, drugs and work. But deliver us from evil Seen and Unseen For yours is the kingdom Where there is compassion for the lost, care for the lonely, commitment to the least and consecration to your Lordship. For yours is the power Holy Spirit send us your peace that surpasses all understanding. Yours is the glory Jesus, son of the Father let your grace shine through me. Amen Amen I say to you, each one of us is the answer to the Lords prayer today and for our times. Let our prayer move from our lips to our lives by sharing the Sign of Peace! (Fr. Clarence Williams, CPPS)
