There were once two little pigs. They had lived all theirlife in a pigsty with tall brick walls, walls too high to seeover. They lived a contented life; and they were happylying on their backs in the mud, sunbathing, watching alittle television, keeping up with the latest fashions indesigner pig wear and so. There was nothing to disturbtheir peaceful existence. Then one day, out of the blue,came a bolt of lightning that struck the side of their pigpen and opened up a hole that showed them the outsideworld.The first pig ignored the gaping hole. Why should shebother to go outside? She continued to lie in the mud andeat food. The second little pig, however, was quiteovercome with curiosity and plucking up courage she leftthe pigsty and began to explore. Her travels took herfurther and further away from the little pig pen and shesaw many strange and wonderful things; some delightedher, others confused her; some made her frightened,others made her laugh. She saw lush green valleys andsparse dry deserts. She saw pigs that were fat and jollyand pigs that were sad and starving. She saw pigsworshipping a huge golden pig and other pigs fighting.She could make no sense of what she saw.She became a wanderer in a land she had never known.Yet her fascination soon gave way to a thirst to find some
