 What is the English Qaballa?
The English Qaballa fulfils the requirements of the instructions given in

The Book of the Law
, Chapter II verse 55. It was discovered on the23rd of November 1976. After working with the Cipher several radical methodsand new techniques were discovered that confirmed that was indeed thepromised Cipher of AL. The word had finally become flesh.
How did the English Qaballa originate?
On April 8th, 9th and 10th 1904 Aleister Crowley received a Book, The Book ofthe Law, via direct voice communication from a ìPraeter human intelligenceî called Aiwass, identifying himself as ìThe minister of Hoor-Paar-Kraatî, anaspect of Horus. Crowley who was both a brilliant Qaballist and anaccomplished magician was surprised and shocked by the content of the bookwhich claimed to be the basis of the ìNew Aeon.î The Aeon of the Crowned andConquering Child. Despite the unusual circumstances involved in its reception,Crowley dismissed the Book as a mere curiosity. The Manuscript wassubsequently lost for five years before it was ìRediscoveredî and he began torealize that it seemed to contain Qabbalistic formulae of an unusually high order,formulae that promised to revolutionize and eclipse the crumbling traditions ofthe Golden Dawn with a living vital evolutionary system that was based entirelyon self realization using Magickal and mystical techniques. .In an effort to proliferate the message of Liber AL Crowley completed severalextensive commentaries on the text, utilizing Hebrew, Coptic and Greek Qaballa
 
to unlock its many secrets. His attempts at the instructions of Liber AL Chapter IIverse 55 were initially equated to the pictograms of Liber Trigrammatonhowever he was not entirely satisfied with the results. In the New comment hestates ìThe Attribution in Liber Trigrammaton is good theoretically, but noQabalah of merit has arisen therefromî.In 1918 Crowleyís magickal child, Frater Achad, provided a valuable key tounlocking Liber AL as outlined in his thesis

Then I noticed another very important thing.I was wondering why A and L should be chosen,or rather why L the 12th letter of the Hebrew alphabetshould follow A, the firstî.
-Frater Achad (Liber 31)It would also appear that he was closer to the Cipher than has probably beenrealised, although he knew it Not, for the 12th letter of the English Alphabet isalso L, the second letter of the EQ cipher and the name of the book from which itwas generated.After Achadís split with Crowley the subject of the English Qaballa was almostforgotten until the 1970ís when a concerted effort was made to discover the Keyto AL.
 What about the more recent efforts to discover theCipher?
In 1976 certain groups and individuals signed A.í. A.í. oaths and worked withLiber AL in search of the promised Qaballah. Several attempts were made theneither abandoned or ritually sacrificed as failures. Two orders in particularactively sought the answer, the O.Z.R.C.S and the T.T.S. Both groups workedindependently and were ignorant of each otherís existence yet both foundrecurrent symbols relevant to Venus, Scorpio and the Rosy Cross. After severalattempts the T.T.S decided to seek out the key magickally and appropriatelyenough one member, began counting 11 letters from A to the letter L hecontinued the sequence counting another 11 letters to W. Thus deriving theinitials of Azure Lidded Woman. Continuing with the sequence he eventuallygenerated the order.

Many individuals and groups worked with the above Cipher using the Class Atexts applying the EQ to various aspects of Magick. After the collation of muchempirical data the consensus was overwhelming. This was indeed thepromised Qaballa.In the US, certain members of the Q.B.L.H. worked with the cipher. Onemember in particular produced a program to allow rapid and accurate reset.This Program is called ìLexiconî and remains the only program worthconsidering for serious EQ Research.
 What makes this the promised Cipher?
The text of AL contains a tremendous amount of corroborative evidence tosubstantiate this particular order. The sequence begins with the name of thebook Al. the third letter being W, producing an anagram of Law, the Englishtitle of the Book.In all ìOfficialî copies of the book of the Law is a facsimile of the hand-writtenmanuscript. Page 16 of Chapter III contains a grid drawn by Crowley on thetext of Liber AL Chapter III verse 47. Writing the alphabet continuously downthe columns from the top left hand corner will produce the above sequenceacross the diagonals. This is proof enough for some, however, the evidencecontinues to mount up.
