1. Financial Obligations
1.1 REGISTRATION FEES The PARTICIPATING CLUB shall pay through its NF the registration fee into the bank account of the CEV in order to be considered as official partner of the competition and enjoy the rights descending from the participation in the CEV Volleyball Champions League. The payment of the fees is a mandatory condition for the registration of the club. The club/NF must respect the deadline for payments as defined in the Table of Financial Sanctions chart in order to validate their participation in the competition.

GENERAL PRINCIPLES OF TV PRODUCTION & TV RIGHTS Each NF/club applying for and accepting the organization of the competition at national level recognizes the following financial principles in connection with the TV production, distribution and marketing of the related rights: 1.2.1 For the whole duration of the competition the exclusive rights related to television, Internet, radio, video and film recordings along with multimedia rights shall be marketed only by the sportsman media group GmbH, as per the provisions of the TV Regulations (see Chapter 4). 1.2.2 Each club participating in the competition has to guarantee the production of a TV signal in accordance with the Television regulations for each home match, including the Final Four. This signal must strictly correspond to the CEV technical requirements, as laid down in the TV Regulations. 1.2.3 A club will be released by CEV from the duty mentioned in Chapter 4 - Art. 2 if an agreement with a TV partner is reached by the sportsman media group. 1.2.4 Should there be no TV agreement between CEV /the sportsman and the respective TV channels of the clubs country up to 60 days before the start of the League Round, the CEV/the sportsman are responsible for the organization of the production of the TV signal and the costs of this service are to be borne directly by the club. 1.2.5 For further details regarding the obligations of transmitting the Final Four matches by the TV PARTNER, please refer to Chapter 4, TV Regulations, Art. 3

1.3 LICENSE FEES The license fee for each player wishing to enter the competition and registered until October 8, 2012 - amounts to: 34,- This amount must be settled UPON RECEIPT of the related CEV invoice to the National Federation. Any supplementary license to be released from October 9, 2012 till January 14, 2013 for the - will imply a fee of: 1300,- This amount must be settled UPON RECEIPT of the corresponding CEV invoice to the National Federation. The payment must be net without charges for CEV. CEV MEDICAL INSURANCE

A medical insurance fee must be paid through the respective National Federation upon receipt of the CEV invoice for all team members registered in the 09bis form who are not yet insured for the current calendar year. The yearly insurance fee for each person amounts to 15,50 Euros. Once the medical insurance fee is paid for a person it covers all European competitions (National Teams and clubs) throughout the whole calendar year (from January 1 up to December 31). 1.5 PER DIEM FOR CEV OFFICIALS

For officiating, the following per diem shall be paid by the organizer to the CEV Officials: Isolated matches of the main phase: For each neutral referee For the CEV Supervisor 225 EUR 225 EUR

The appointed Reserve Referee will receive a Per Diem for one match amounting to 75 EUR plus travel costs (at least 150.- EUR. In case he has to travel). Final Four Tournament: For each neutral referee For the reserve referee For the CEV Referee Delegate For the CEV Supervisor For each additional appointed CEV Official except the CEV Representative 300 EUR 300 EUR 375 EUR 450 EUR 75 EUR / day

These amounts are to be paid in Euro. The fees are due, even if the effective duration of the stay is less than the number of days foreseen in the Regulations. In case the CEV Supervisor or neutral referee is obliged to arrive earlier or stay longer due to travel schedule, an additional amount of 75 EUR per day is to be paid to the concerned official. These fees are to be settled upon arrival of those concerned. 1.6 OTHER EXPENSES The NF applying for and accepting the organization of the mens and womens competitions at national level shall bear all related costs as per the terms of the CL Handbook.

2. Organizational Costs
2.1 ORGANIZATIONAL COSTS All organizing costs for the matches, including local transport of the visiting team(s), shall be borne by the receiving clubs. During the MAIN PHASE, the visiting team must organize and bear its board & lodging during the whole stay in the competition venue. 2.2 ENTRANCE FEES 2.2.1 All receipts deriving from the organization of home matches are solely acquired by the organizer. 2.2.2 For the Final Four the organizer must guarantee that each visiting team can buy entry tickets representing 10% of the capacity of the competition hall. The organizer must additionally reserve at least 30 VIP tickets for the officials of each participating team. Each visiting team must ask for the necessary number of tickets no later than 7 days before the start of the Final Four. After this deadline, the tickets will remain at the disposal of the organizer. The price demanded to the opponent teams cannot exceed the official prices applied for the local audience. 2.3 FINANCIAL DAMAGES The National Federation of the participating club is responsible for the financial damages occurred to the CEV and visiting teams, for mistake or culpable negligence by their careless organisation. Costs and damages occurred to CEV and National Federation or participating clubs, by force majeure or a reason outside the influence of the participating teams, their National Federation or CEV, have to be borne by the damaged body itself

3.3. Financial & Other Sanctions


Financial sanctions will be inflicted on the hosting NF in case the NF or one of its authorized assigns does not comply with the obligations and administrative deadlines contained in the CL Handbook. In general, the CEV will adopt the following principle: The dates stipulated as deadlines in the Table of Financial Sanctions must be understood as date of the reception of the various documents/information by the CEV Head Office. Post stamps are only valid if explicitly mentioned.

In addition to the financial sanctions listed in the section Table of Financial Sanctions of the CL Handbook, any participating team/NF is bound to indemnify the CEV for any financial loss caused by the non-fulfilment of its obligations having as a consequence the non-payment of part or whole of the sponsorship fee by any of the official partners of the CEV. In case of violation of the fair play or any ethic rules (see Code of Discipline), using for instance players of a second team and thereby deliberately influencing the ranking in the various pools, the CEV Executive Committee could inflict high financial sanctions against the guilty club(s), or disciplinary sanctions, even up to stripping points awarded for matches won or lost, or the exclusion of the team for one or more years from the competition.

Moreover, the CEV Executive Committee has all rights to inflict any additional sanctions, duly based upon proved facts (written reports, video, pictures, etc.). The CEV Executive Committee has the right to balance the level of each of these amounts, in close relationship with the seriousness and the repetitiveness of the damage being caused by the NF/club. In general the provisions on sanctions, as laid down in the Table of Financial Sanctions Chapter 8, page 4 - , shall be applied within the minimum and the maximum amounts outlined there.

44. Prize Money


For the Mens competition: The CEV shall pay to each club participating in the mens competition the minimum bonus and prize money listed below.
