The Oct. 27 event, sponsored by FirstFreedom Bank and University MedicalCenter and held by The Lebanon Demo-crat, will eature seminars every hal hourthroughout the day rom motivationalspeaker and local coupon expert AnnHaney.Haney will discuss topics, including“The 1-2-3 ‘s o Successul Couponing,”“Maximizing Savings While MinimizingTime,” “Discovering Drug Store RewardsFor Dynamic Savings” and “From ClippingCoupons To Debt-Free Living.”Haney, a mother o six, said her pas-sion or coupon clipping began three yearsago as a way to oset eects o the reces-sion. Like most o the American workorce,Haney’s husband, who is in the construc-tion industry, experienced a fnancial set-back.Instead o approaching the obstacleburdened with worry, Haney was proac-tive and looked or ways to do more withless.“I heard that couponing could save alot o money. It saved my amily $800 amonth,” she said. “Basically, that wouldmake a house payment. Couden willpresent a seminar on uterine fbroid em-bolization, a less invasive alternative tohysterectomy. Presenting “Things everywoman needs to know about her body”will be Dr. Clainda Burton-Shannon withWomen’s Wellness o Lebanon. Dr. AlisaBowerstock with Women’s Health Clinicwill present “The answers to the questionsyou were araid to ask.”UMC Surgical Services Director KathyRomero will present a discussion on thesurgical solution to weight loss rom a pa-tient’s perspective. Radiologist Dr. Lucy B.Spalluto will speak on women’s imaging.The expo begins at 9:30 a.m. and willwrap up about 1:30 p.m. in Lebanon HighSchool’s common area and caeteria.Other seminars and activities will beheld simultaneously, including Zumba,dance, sel-deense and karate demonstra-tions.The event will be at Lebanon HighSchool and beneft the Lebanon HighSchool cheerleaders.Cheer coach Amanda Hargis said themoney raised would be used or mats andto und trips to competitions.Tickets are $5 each or adults and chil-dren under 12 are admitted ree.
