Hieroglyph tradition in sculptural,numismatic resources and bibliography onancient Indian coins
I not a coin collector. My interest in numismatics is in relation to my interest in ancient hinducivilization studies.I owe a lot to the work done by Prof. DR Bhandarkar, Dilip Rajgor, Dr. Nirupam Mahajan, Dr.Alexander Fishman and scores of other scholars who have made outstanding contributions toIndian numismatics starting with the tradition set by EJ Rapson and Vincent Smith. Hence thiscompilation intended to throw new light on the mleccha language of the early miners andsmiths who operated in sindhu, sarasvati and ganga river basins and many other parts of Hindustan in their relentless quest for new mineral resources.I would like to place on record my tribute to the brilliant and extraordinary compilation of ancient Indian coins compiled with remarkable diligence and care
