Andree Lim Geok Leng had gone to live in California.

While in the United States she worked as a director of operations in the human resource and business services department at a prestigious retirement home. In 2006 she had returned to her home in Singapore. This trip home was to care for her aging parents. She searched high and low for work that would not take up more than 44 hours a week. This was done to ensure she could have lots of quality time to spend with her family. Most importantly in her family is her young daughter. Andree Lim Mancha decided a customer service or administrative position would allow her to achieve a better balance in both her professional and personal responsibilities. Andree L. Mancha despaired after over thirty unsuccessful applications was persistent. In April 2007, Andree Lim signed up for a career seminar under the prefesionals conversion programme that was organized by the National Trades Union Congress and was supported by the following groups throughout Singapore: WDA, EDB, SPRING Singapore, and STB. She learned resume writing and interview handling skills from her trip to California. Soon thereafter she got the job with Chasen Logistics Services an LLC company that supports the employment of mature PMETs. PMETs stands for Professionals, Managers, Executives, and Technicians. This group recognized Andrees dedication, resourcefulness, and maturity as a very valuable asset for the company. Andree Lim is now a proud customer service executive at Chasen while still enjoying her work and life balance. She is very grateful to NTUC for their initiative in reintegrating mid-career professionals like herself back into the workforce. NTUC secured an on-the-spot, face-to-face interview. With that, I could convince Chasen why I was the staff member they were looking for. Stories Related: Andree Lim Andree Lim Geok Leng Andree Lim Mancha Andree Mancha Andree L Mancha
