Until such time as the new National Officers for 1951 have been elected and a new Newsletter Editor appointed, I shall be happy to continue to compile and edit news concerning the OOF and Wasps in general. With this in mind, the next issue of the NEWSLETTER will enjoy a deadline of FEBRUARY 1ST and all Open Forum inquiries should be received before that date. During the Christmas holidays I shall drive to the Keys along the Gulf Coast of Florida and shall try to contact all Wasps all that route. Lt. 's rating in the reserve, and that Jane Emerson Carter, 43--2, has a Captain's rating. WASP CLOTHING "I have both a summer and a winter uniform. Having been in 44-10 neither was worn much. The su~ner I did wear some as a suit, the winter Mother has had in mothballs for ages and would be delighted to send it off to someone who could use it. They are both in excellent condition so far as I know, and if anyone can use a size 12 I'm eager to unload them. Price? What's it worth to anyone?" Elaine Harmon, 44-9, reports that she is planning a Christmas holiday party for Wasps and their husbands to be held December 29th at her home at Paint Branch Farms, Md. Elaine's phone number is ASHTON 6848 in case any WASPS may be in town and available. Clair Callaghan, 43-1, took time out in the midst of shampooing her hair to talk to the Editor last week and she reports that she is working with the CAA analyzing accidents. Says it's enough to curl your hair! L. Levona Hove, 1~4-10, via phone reported ~hat she is in the cosmetic business and is distributor for the Washington area for a company in Utah.
