Greetings
Dear Readers, Dear Practitioners of Bon,
We are happy to present you the third issue of Ligmincha Europe Magazine! This publicationgives everyone an opportunity to connect tothe European sangha and we hope that itbrings you interesting news and inspiration toyour practice. The first issue, released in Spring of 2011, wascalled the European Bon Garuda Newsletter. With the second issue in Autumn 2011, wechanged the name into Ligmincha EuropeMagazine. And from now on, we want to makethe magazine quarterly. Therefore, you canalready expect the nextissue in the spring. With this, we are intune with the currentproliferation of activi-ties within the Euro-pean sangha of TenzinWangyal Rinpoche.Newcomers fromFrance have brought inlots of enthusiasm andinitiative. By provi-ding simultaneoustranslation and subtit-les to Tenzin WangyalRinpoche's internetteachings, they have inspired other sanghas tofollow them. There is another project worth mentioning, ledthis time by the Austrian sangha: a basicpractice kit is being prepared, includingdescriptions of main practices and prayerswhich will serve as introductory material fornewcomers. A similar guidebook is already inuse in the Finnish sangha. Now, it will beavailable in English for translation into otherlanguages. In the next issue, we are going toupdate you on these and other ideas andactivities. There are changes regarding this magazine wewant to let you know about. Anja Beneschresigned from the position of editor, so she candedicate her time fully to the work for TheThree Doors Program. Among other tasks, sheis now in charge of preparing The Three DoorsInternational Newsletter, already publishedtwice and available online. We want to thankAnja for all the ideas, work, and enthusiasmshe brought to the team.Floor van Orsouw from the Netherlandssupported us with the preparation of this issue, and from the next issue on, she will be aregular editor. We want to thank allthe other peoplewithout whose helpthis magazine could notexist, above all ourproofreaders. We alsowant to invite everyonewith ideas and theenergy to realize them,to join us in creatingthis magazine. Thereare a lot of things to bedone: finding topics, writing and editing arti-cles, promoting themagazine, building adatabase of pictures, and checking thecontent and names forconsistency. The nice part of it is that from cre-ating the magazine for others, you profit in thefirst place, learning a lot of new informationand connecting with interesting people. We also want to use this space for corrections. In the last issue, Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche andAnne Klein were erroneously listed as authorsof a poem attributed to Lishu Taring. Ourapologies to Lishu Taring.Enjoy reading the Ligmincha Europe Magazine!
