 A scale model of a page of Kyle’s newspaperis shown at the right. The scale is shown in thetable below. Find the dimensions of the totalarea taken up by photos and the dimensionsof the total area taken up by advertisementsin the scale drawing. Cut out 2 rectangles withthese dimensions.
3.
Use your rectangles to layout page 2. Cut therectangles horizontally to make at least twophotos and two advertisements. Draw and labelthe final layout on the scale model. Label thedimensions that each photo or ad should be inthe actual newspaper.
4.
Kyle would like for circulation of the newspaper to startat a ratio of 9 to 2. If there are 450 people in the area ofcirculation, how many newspapers should he print originally?
