Meet Our Board
CCC Board of Trustee since 1996
Sherry retired ater working in theinsurance industry or 19 years. Shehas two children and our grandchildren.Sherry currently volunteers at MercyMedical Center. She had been diagnosedwith cancer and was undergoing treatmentat the time she was nominated to serve onthe CCC board. Over the years, Sherryhas donated her time and energy orvarious causes related to fnding a cureor cancer. The news o many breakthrough treatments comingrom OHSU encourages Sherry that we are very close to a cureor this dreaded disease.
Executive Committee Board Member & President of the board
Ryan, a lielong resident o DouglasCounty, joined the board in 2007. He hasserved on the executive committee since2009 and had the honor o serving aspresident since 2010. Having experiencedthe eects o cancer with many o hisamily members and riends, the missiono CCC is an especially personal one toRyan. He and his wie Steanie have beenmarried or 11 years and have two rambunctious boys, Jackson,6 and Tyler, 4.

Paul graduated rom Roseburg HighSchool in 1979. He then went on to earnhis Bachelor o Architecture Degree romthe University o Oregon in 1984. Asthe owner o Paul L. Bentley, Architectin Roseburg, he had the honor o beingchosen to design the new acility orCCC. In addition to serving on the boardPaul is past president o the executivecommittee.

Tim grew up right here in Douglas Countywith his mom, dad and 3 brothers. He puthimsel through college and supported hisamily as a feld mechanic until he bought hisown business in 1991. Tim has owned andoperated Freeman’s Garden Valley Shell oralmost 20 years. He and his wie Angelia, metand married in Oakland and are now raisingtheir two children in Roseburg. Tim currentlyserves as District 2 House Representativein the Oregon State Legislature. He is passionate about children andveterans. Tim helped the local Harley Club start its local toy run andworks actively with the Douglas County Veterans Forum.

 Allyn has held the position o President andCEO o Roseburg Forest Products since 1997,when he took over leadership o the companyrom his ather and company ounder, KennethFord. Allyn began his career with RFP in 1968.He has held a number o leadership positionsin the Oregon orestry community andparticipates in a number o charitable andbusiness organizations. Allyn now serves onthe Board o Higher Education. He receivedhis Bachelor o Science degree in industrial administration rom Yale in1964 and his Master’s in Business Administration rom Stanord in 1966.

Mary is a native o Roseburg, having returnedhere ater graduating rom the University oOregon to raise her amily. She is an alumnio the University o Oregon and was also amember o the varsity women’s track teamat the University o Oregon! Mary has beenactively involved in the community romcoaching track at the high school to beinga member o various bowling leagues. Shehas also served on Proessional Business Associations as Director or over 10 years and has chaired variouscommittees or the beneft o non-proft agencies such as SpecialOlympics and Habitat or Humanity.

Neal graduated rom Sutherlin High in1981 and Oregon State University in 1986.He has worked in the banking industry or31 years, the last 17 or Umpqua Bank.His current position is Executive VicePresident/Regional Executive, leadingall acets o Community Banking or 40stores in Southwest Oregon.

Ron is the UIDC Administrative OperationsOfcer or the Cow Creek Band oUmpqua Tribe o Indians. He also servesas the General Manager or UmpquaIndian Utility Cooperative, (UIUC). Ron,a graduate o Oregon State University, isactively involved in the community and hasserved on several boards and committees.In 1994, Ron was named Roseburg’s FirstCitizen, or his involvement in the Douglas County Area. Ron andhis wie, Mary Jane, have our sons, and 10 grandchildren. Theyhave lived in Roseburg or
the past 25 years.
Board of Trustee since 1990s
Jim moved to Roseburg with his amily in 1976and began his practice o general surgery.During that time, he served a year as Chieo the Douglas Community Hospital MedicalSta, and later on the Board o Directorso that hospital. Jim retired and closed hispractice in 2002. Since then, he has servedon the Douglas Community Fund o theOregon Community Fund and the Board othe Riverside Center in Winston. Jim currentlycontinues to volunteer at the Family Development Center as a teacher’sassistant. He has served as President o the Executive Committee Boardand continues to be on the Board o Trustees o CCC.
