The famous Lot Thirteen Grenache is back.2010 New Release!
For those who have visited our cellar door - you know the Lot 13 Grenache is our mostpopular wine. Stuart and Coralie McMillan planted thisGrenachevineyard 11 years ago, located betweenWillungaandSellicks,in deep riverine alluvium soil which has been washed
down from the 500million year old 'Wilpena' group formations across the faultline and up theWillunga escarpment.
Every ferment starts with carefully crushed and de-stemmed handpicked lusciously ripenedberries into a tiny 600 litre ferment tub. To fully showcase the complexity created in thevineyard the wine is then treated as individual parcels fermented at varying temperatures, massages and length of skin contact keeping in mind the wine as a single entity being builtfrom the individual parcels.Addition is a dirty word in this part of the world with every effort being made to ensure intervention is minimalised and natural elements arefully utilised.
"Make no mistake, this is true Hand-crafted, Small batch (micro), traditional wine making where the aim for a quality wine with character isnever compromised."
