Hillary’s Chinese ConnectionAs the world becomes aware of the absolute cruelty China has bestowed on itspopulation for the corporate dollar it is quite odd to me the US press is sosilent. Is the fact Bill Clinton gave China Favored Nation Status the reason weare mum over the torture and death at China’s slave labor camps? Or is it becauseHillary Clinton is the new Secretary of State and she has deep business ties withChina? Possibly it is because most of the shelves at our stores are filled withproducts made from cheap affordable slave labor. After all, we don’t want to upsetthe corporate ox cart and cause them to loose face because they are involved inslavery. Besides the World Trade Organization has deemed it OK to torture, rapeand kill for the corporate bottom line.I fear the Burmese community faces the same neglect and lack of consideration fromthe Clintons since China supplies Burma’s criminal regime with munitions to killits own citizens. Burma has also taken up the Chinese tradition of having slavesto lower the cost of goods to the joy of world markets. The killing of innocentKaren’s and other tribal people has become an expectable business practice withWTO blessings. After all these Karen were blocking progress and the gleaning ofnatural resources. The continuing arrest of thousands of people who opposedtotalitarian rule and wanted the original elections honored has gone unchecked. The duly elected leader of Burma, Aung San Suu Kyi, has been in bondage a total of13 years just for being elected to office. It was a landslide victory by the way. From teenagers to Nobel Prize winners, General Than Shwe has taken the position ofthrowing them in prisons for the rest of their lives before his bugus 2010election. Torture and death await these people for wanting democracy. But as weall know, democracy and human rights are obstacles and a nuisance to Globalizationand the quest for the corporate bottom line. Maybe that is why the WTO, theClintons and International Corporate Conglomerates have turned a deaf ear onChina, the Falun Gong and Burma’s cries for help. It is clear our mainstream mediahas chosen to ignore these blatant human rights violations. After all who signstheir check? Hillary’s speech was a grave omen to Asian’s indeed. In cooperation with the Falun Gong I am republishing a list of news stories fromcourageous publications that are not afraid to tell the truth about China and itsreprehensible behavior. It is just revolting to know that corporate interestsovershadow humanity. Democracy is an obstruction to the corporate agenda ofGlobalization and this term should identify the thugs who are trying to perpetratethis crime on the free world, American included. Dare I mention South America andAfrica fore they are in the grips of corporate interests wanting to strip theirland of natural resources as well. Open your eyes and you will see that it’s aworld wide epidemic of greed. In many cases it’s the same corporations who’veinfected all the nations in conflict. Or is it just a coincidence? With HillaryClinton in the State Department the future looks grim for Democracy in Asia foreshe has no ears for the Falun Gong or Burma I fear.Monitoring the Falun Gong Human Rights Crisis in China22 Jan 2009London Telegraph: Seven key dates for China in 2009Freedom House: “Escalated persecution of minorities” in China in 2008Epoch Times: Fifteen Chinese Lawyers Demand an Open Retrial of Falun GongPractitionersTimes of India: Channel your energy with this Chinese therapyWinnipeg Sun: Rights advocate Matas named to Order of CanadaLondon Telegraph: Seven key dates for China in 2009
