2012 e-Inclusion AwardsFinalists Showcase
The 2012 e-Inclusion Awards
“The digital world is for everyone,
but with almost a quarter of Europeans still remaining offline, those people are becomingincreasingly isolated anddisadvantaged. The e-Inclusion Awards celebrate those peopleand organisations who arehelping to open up the vast socialand economic opportunitiesprovided by the internet to a
wider audience across Europe.”
“There are so many individuals
and organisations across Europewho work tirelessly to bring theinternet into the lives of thedisadvantaged. Some of theparticularly compelling stories inthis competition were from individuals who have turned their livesaround and improved it through embracing digital technologies and
who are now using them to help the others.”

The 2012 e-Inclusion Awards

today’s complex social and economic
