Hermanu
Bali island is home to the vast majority of Indonesia's small Hindu minority.
93.18% of Bali's population adheres to Balinese Hinduism. It is also the largest
tourist destination in the country and is renowned for its highly developed arts,
including scuplture, painting, dance, leather, metalworking and music.
Tourism is now the largest single industry; and as a result, Bali is one of
Indonesia’s wealthiest regions. The economy, has suffered significantly as a
result of the terrorist bombings of 2002 and 2005. The main tourist locations are
Kuta (with its beach and resort), and its outer suburbs of Legian and Seminyak,
Sanur, Jimbaran, Ubud, and Nusa Dua. The Ngurah Rai International Airport is
located near Jimbaran.
Bali's tourism brand is Bali Shanti Shanti Shanti. Where Shanti derived from
Sanskrit "Shanti" meaning peace.
Besakih
Besakih and its complex of about 30 temples is a focal point for Balinese Hindus,
located on the slope of Mount Agung
Batubulan
Home of skilled stone carvers, located near Denpasar, on the road to Ubud.
Batur
Batur was village destroyed in 1926 Mount Batur's eruption. The villagers then
moved further up the mountain, where they built an impressive temple.
Bedugul
Bedugul highland location makes for spectacular mountain walks. Its climate also
ideal for growing vegetables, fruits and flowers.
Denpasar
Denpasar is Bali's administrative and commercial centre. Its very fascinating city
where modern meets traditional. Department store, restaurant, and banks grow
up rapidly alongside traditional markets.

Most famous Bali's tourist resort. Kuta famed for its spectacular sunset and the
surf is excellent for board and body surfing.
