1 Introduction
The main goal in a social media marketing plan is to get as much attention as possible. The goal is to get shared trough all kinds of social media. Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and blogs are examples of different kinds of social media. They all work in their own way and attract different users. Facebook is mainly to keep in touch with your friends but you can also get news feed from different companies and pages that you have liked on Facebook. If you have liked Coca-Cola on Facebook you will get everything they update on their Facebook page to your news feed. Twitter can be used in different ways. You can use it as a blog and update about your personal life or you can use it to get all the media info you want. In Twitter its all about following, you can follow whatever you want etc. celebrities, top athletes, journalist even the president of the United States of America Barack Obama have a twitter account who you can follow. YouTube is a video sharing site, where you can upload and watch videos. YouTube also have the same function as Facebook and Twitter where you can like and follow, but on YouTube its called subscribe. Here you can subscribe to different channels and get the latest video uploads from your subscriptions on your front page. You can subscribe to anything, from your favorite music band to or your favorite sports team. Blogging is a different kind of social media, and it can be about anything from digital updates to a model writing about her daily life. If we say that a female blogger has about 200.000 active

readers and she is writes about fashion, it could be smart if etc. Marimekko would send her clothes and other products so that she can write and post pictures on her blog about them. 2 Steps
2.1 Overview of business plan The first thing to do is to go over the business plan and consider what you need. Is social media something that the company needs. What is the target audience and do you reach them with social media and what are the channels that they use. Its also important to know how much you should spend on social media marketing. If its a smaller company you may want to consider just to open an Facebook and/or Twitter account and try and get as much followers as possible. Bigger companies should have a whole team for social media now days, as it requires fast responding and updating.( http://www.clickz.com/clickz/column/2203265/your-social-mediamarketing-plan-in-5-easy-steps ) 2.2 Goals for Social Media You have to consider what you want the company to achieve in social media marketing. The main goals are often that you get as many followers as possible and that your updates get shared throughout the social media. By researching social media you can get valuable information about what the people wants and needs.(

To succeed in this you have to research your customers and get as much information about them as possible so that you can relate to them and communicate more easily with the customers. Facebook is perhaps the easiest to start with

because so many are familiar to Facebook and its very easy to use. You have to think about what the uploads will contain and remember that everything said or uploaded is reflected to the company. Consider how to get more followers, creating an event is a great way to get more followers. 3 Personal Reflection
In the past years social media has grown a lot and its considered a very powerful tool today and its used by the most companies today and it will continue to grow. The main reasons the social media is so popular now days is because its used by so many people and its easy to connect with people. Another very good reason is because its really cheap and everybody has access to it. This is possibly only the beginning of marketing in social media. In my opinion its very important that the company is very active on Facebook for example, responds to questions and uploads at least 2-3 things a day. The marketing plan for social media is never completed because its an ongoing progress and there will always be something that wasnt planned and it can be both negative or positive things.
