Offerings: The offerings in November are for Gehman Missionary Support (Flamms, Millers, Miners, Phillips, and Snader) and budgeted items. Attendance for last week was 127. Offering for last week was $3,835.00. Nov. 4, Sun.-Gap Male Chorus at 7 p.m. at Blainsport Mennonite Church. Nov. 7, Wed.-Youth Bible Study, 7 p.m. at the church. Nov. 8, Thurs.-Dr. D. Holmes Morton, cofounder of the Clinic for Special Children

in Strasburg, Pa., presents two lectures about the clinics work at 3:45 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., at Elizabethtown Colleges Gibble Auditorium in Esbenshade Hall. In the 3:45 talk, Caring for the Patient in the Time of Genomics, Morton describes the benefits of the small-scale way the clinic practices medicine. In the 7:30 talk, Plain People and Modern Medicine, he discusses how the clinics work has affected medical outcomes and provided economic value for Plain communities. Nov. 10, Sat.- Jr.Youth Fall Party at Carl and Sylvia Eberly's house from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Weather permitting we plan to be outside. Please dress warmly. Nov. 18, Sun.-During the offering, the children, as well as anyone else, can bring food as well as money to the front of the church and what is collected will be given to a homeless shelter for the Thanksgiving meal. On the table in the back is a list of food that the homeless shelter would be able to use. Thanks! -Outreach Committee Nov. 18, Sun.-Everyone is welcome to participate in a time of singing hymns together with the residents of Denver Nursing Home. Please meet in the dining hall on the lower level at 2:45 p.m. Nov. 19, Mon.-Ministry Team meeting at 6 p.m. and Board of Elders meeting at 7 p.m. Thanks for your prayers for these meetings. If you have questions, encouragement, suggestions, etc. for our church please share them with the ministry team. Your input is welcomed! -Share your faith this Christmas holiday! Christmas International House links international students from colleges across the US to Christian host families willing to open their hearts and homes for 2 weeks in Dec. Hosting brings missions to your family as cultures are exchanged and relationships built. Students pay their own transportation and host families provide lodging, meals and a family centered American Christmas. This years program, hosted by Hinkletown Mennonite Church, runs from 12/18-01/02.
