The most famous motto of occultism is prob-ably “As above, so below”, from the emeraldtable of Hermes. This is also true of inner vs.outer as well. For that reason Dragon Rougeemphasises that magical work must containreal esoteric expressions, such as real physicaltemples, real books, real knowledge anchoredin actual historic and academic sources, realefforts, real meetings, real practise, and realpeople. Members of Dragon Rouge are char-acterised by power of action and I am oftenasked how one can best assist Dragon Rougein our common work. We have thus foundeda temple fund which is one way to contributeto the work of the order. More information be-low.Dragon Rouge came into existence in thelate 1980’s and the early years were filledwith spontaneous but powerful workings. Imust say, however, that it feels good to haveleft those times behind, Dragon Rouge todayworks better and our workings are even morepowerful today. But, the early years can serveas a great inspiration for us today, to give usthe wisdom from magical processes in theirearly stages. For this reason I have writtena book that covers the very first two years inDragon Rouge’s history. It is still unpublished, but one of the chapters is part of this Drac-ontias, and describes a magical working onGotland. In this number also, fittingly, the sigilof Thaumiel and notes about its character –this being after all Dracontias no. 2 year ’11.HDHM!Thomas K.
